Metallica rockz! ya imma noob but oh well. wow, i never knew Kirk was part flip, thats crazy. My fav Metallica song has got to be 'Master of Puppets' its awesome! the solo for it at like 5 minutes something is just insane, i still haven't learnt it all yet. i don't really like metallica's new cd (frantic?) but i love all the older ones.

kea= seek and destroy(gets too repetitive)
rtl= escape(it's allright but could be better)
mop- the thing that should not be(it still kicks *** it's just the weakest song in the album)
ajfa- shortest straw(gets too repetitive but it's still good)
black album-the god that failed
load-bleeding me
reload-better than you( i never liked this song)

st.anger- some kind of monster(gets too annoying and repetitive, that's what happened with most songs, they have some cool parts but they get ruined by other bad parts in the songs)

Kill- metal militia
Ride- call of ktulu
Master- NONE
Justice- eye of the beholder
Black- NONE
Load- poor twisted me
Reload- the unforgiven 2
Garage- free speech for the dumb
St.Anger- whole record

Kill 'Em All - Whiplash (Far to overrated)

And Justice For All - The Shortest Straw
Black Album - The Struggle Within
Load - Ronnie (Sounds like an outtake from the Black Album)

And Frail! how dare you say Metal Militia is the worst track! it's one of Metallicas best songs!

I'm a newcomer here So bare with me. I just wanted to say that I'm into Metallica very much but I also like GnR, SRV, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pink Floyd(my favorite band) anything that involves Slash, and any thing that falls into the previous stuff.
I play guitar and am somewhat of a great player in my own right.

My fav songs of Metallica are

Orion
To Live is To Die
Fixxxer
Where the Wild Things Are
Hit the lights
Eye of the Beholder
Dyers Eve


I love every album except St. Anger but that doesnt mean I dont like Metallica any more I am still awaiting another album and if it is similar to St. Anger (hopefully not) I will still buy it to have.

But My favorite albums are

Master of Puppets and Reload


I know I might get bashed for liking Reload so much but Its my type of music that I like to play is moody atmospheric like trippy (somewhat) music.

I felt that way about it to untill I heard it a few more times.

one minute ago i listened to it again.. but i still don't like it. it's so boring und too melodic in the middle part.. but that's just my opinion ;)

Yeah, because if there's one thing early Metallica suffered from it was being too bloody melodic. :)

has anyone heard of metallica coming to Halifax, NS. there's a rummer that's been going around but no ones been able to prove it, or disprove it for that matter. from what i've gathered they're supposed to be coming around octobre or novembre. if anyone knows anything please post.
