well nuclear energy puts out huge amounts of radiation and heat.....thats a "downside" i guess. but its one of the most productive and effcient energy sources.

Well, I'll see what I can dig up in my texts and such.

It's obvious that nuclear energy produces more power more rapidly than coil and those other forms of energy, and that we have a lot of it, so it'll keep us going for a while. Also, it's reliable because it's not "windfall" (pardon the pun) like wind is, and isn't as limited as oil/coal/wood. It can also be used to power greater area when compared with the amount. That is, say 1,000 kg of nuclear energy can power 10 blocks, 1,000 kg wood may only power 2 or 3 blocks.

Disadvantages? It's dangerous for one. It can blow up. Chernobyll, for instance...what a disaster! Also, once the nuclear reaction is done, a very radioactive product remains...bad news for humanity. We have no where to put it! :p
