Thank you, I appreciate your modding and all and know you can't be on all the time. But the amount of spam and such that has been going on lately has been getting a little out of hand.

I spent an extensive amount of time laying out my thoughts and composing that thread, and I couldn't wait to hear the opinions of death metal, grindcore, etc fans. It was a well thought out argument and it was meant to generate harmless discussion. If you read the thread, you'd see that a user with a postcount of about 300 spoke (and a username alluding to Slipknot, if that counts) about how he hates death metal and think it's stupid. Yes, and I wanted to hear the opinions of others here, fans and those who don't like it either. My intentions were not to get it out there that I dislike said genres, but to hear the reactions to my reasoning and others' opinions. I still really want to hear what other people think, and I'm being deprived of that right now. The thread's structure being as it is, it should not be mistook for a random n00b's idiot-spittle that's going nowhere.

The thread is re-opened, although I still believe that making a thread based on hating a genre is a bit stupid. Each person has his/her own opinion, it's going to turn into a flame war. Trust me, I've been around here long enough to know what will spark arguments and what will not.

Post a highly visible warning saying that if indeed it does turn into a stupid flamefest that you will close it immediately. I sincerely do want to take part in a healthy discussion on the matter.
