Why does metalcore have such a bad reputation? seriously it gets made fun of all the time. I used to like shadows fall, killswitch engage, trivium, chimaira and lamb of god. Actually the only one I still like is Chimaira, but why do you think it's so greatly hated?

it's greatly hated because most of it sucks, at least most of what's coming out and being touted as metalcore.

I dunno, most people refer to them as post thrash or some ****. Thier first full length was a combination of nu metal influence and what they do today, but beyond that, I dunno.
