this is not available on cd, its an lp only and is very hard to find, trust me you dont wanna hear it anymore than you have to, its terrible, im suprised the band didnt change their name after this, but luckily most BR fans dont even think about it now, they overcome this when they released suffer :)
It is available on cd, but just as a promo.

My friend saw it at a garage sale and bought it for me. 20 dollars.

KingOfSka 11-18-2005 11:23 PM

Anybody wanna reccomend me an album? I just downloaded The Empire Strikes First, I don't know if I like it that much though,
wot do all of you thnk about Bad Religions live album TESTED

i think its ok but its not that great becaue it is broken up and its not rally a live album
It good but i could see what they were trying to do not recording the crowd,
But at the end of the day its always the best thing to hear the crowd in a live album

MAthiAS 11-19-2005 10:48 AM

Alright, I see them TONIGHT. Anyone else going to Starland?
Where in Jersey you at man?
I'm in Basking Ridge which is Somerset County.

fatwreckpunk 11-19-2005 05:45 PM

some band we palyed a gig with tonight murdered YOU, by bad religion obviously, it was with just a drummer and a guitarist / lead singer. no bassist or other guitarist, it was diasterous

Let's Chop Cats! 11-20-2005 12:28 AM

Well, worst posssible set they could have played. They had atleast 10 more amazing songs that should have been played.

Turn on the Light
Anesthesia
21st Century Digital Boy
Generator
No Control
You
American Jesus
Recipe for Hate
Suffer
Overture/Sinister Rouge
All There Is
LA is Burning
Let Them Eat War
God's Love
The Gray Race
Come Join Us
Supersonic
Prove It
Sorrow
Epiphany
Defense

MAthiAS 11-20-2005 12:38 AM

^^They played Infected and Man with a Mission too, and I agree about the setlist. They played like the worst songs on Suffer, disappointing with that being my favorite album of theirs.

fatwreckpunk 11-21-2005 06:19 AM

i think i must have been lucky the 2 times i saw them, they played all my fave songs from suffer / no control and all of my favourite newer songs. I think they are sticking to the same set a lot on tour at the moment, well its seems thats way
Anybody wanna reccomend me an album? I just downloaded The Empire Strikes First, I don't know if I like it that much though,
Theyre definitely an aquired taste. It took me a little while to really get into 'em. I'd buy some of their older stuff, like Suffer, or No Control. Or you could get the greatest hits cd "all ages"

Drop The Baby 11-22-2005 12:26 PM

Not for me, i loved them the minute i heard Give You Nothing on Punk-O-Rama 2.

Discussions on BR's best release could seriously go on all day, so i'd agree and say get All Ages

fatwreckpunk 11-22-2005 12:31 PM

they have been one of my favourite punk bands since i first heard suffer. that album sold them to me, its just incredible

victimofreality 11-22-2005 05:44 PM

Get Against The Grain. Trust me.

white_riot 11-22-2005 05:47 PM

Get "How could Hell be any Worse" awesome album.

POINTLESS5448 11-22-2005 05:53 PM

i have no control and its :thumb:

fatwreckpunk 11-23-2005 03:56 AM

suffer is still the best imo, and will always be my favourite BR album, i dont think they could possibly make one better

vote me 11-23-2005 10:27 AM

get suffer first

Against the Grain is pretty close, but I agree.

People don't seem to mention Stranger than Fiction too much, but I'm realizing now that its pretty sick.

I think No Control. Suffer is awesome, just doesn't hit it for me. No Control was my first Br album. Both times I saw them, they played loadsa stuff off it.

AND MODERN MAN!

victimofreality 11-23-2005 12:35 PM

Stranger than Fiction is tight, but Greg's writing seems way weaker than on any of their other albums. That and Recipe for Hate have Brett's best lyrics.

Phillip_schranck 11-23-2005 06:57 PM

Gosh I have never heard any Bad Religion except this live thing which was really cool. But I got no money. Could anybody YSI me some. Thanks.

Punk/SkaMan44 11-23-2005 11:22 PM

the only song by them ive heard is epiphany and i thought it was pretty good

_JR 11-24-2005 11:52 AM
the only song by them ive heard is epiphany and i thought it was pretty good
epiphany doesnt sound like a lot of any other BR songs. very experimental track.

_JR 11-24-2005 11:55 AM
Get "How could Hell be any Worse" awesome album.
is that the same as 80-85?

if it it, yeah its awesome.

skavid 11-24-2005 12:59 PM
is that the same as 80-85?

Yeah it's "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?" with their first EP, their stuff off of the Public Service comp, and "Back To The Known."

fatwreckpunk 11-24-2005 01:21 PM

i think if i bought no control first it would probably be my favourite, i just have very good memories as suffer was the first punk album i heard. I like it more and more everytime i hear it. I then bought the remastered version. I gave the remastrered version to my girlfriend as i thought to myself i wanted to keep the original quality version just because of the memories of first hearing it

_JR 11-24-2005 06:13 PM
Yeah it's "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?" with their first EP, their stuff off of the Public Service comp, and "Back To The Known."
ok yeah, thats what i thought. it's really good though, they sound so young, but still so talented, gonna go listen to it now

lynch_me 11-24-2005 07:31 PM

Greg has a raspy teen voice in their early early years. Then just a couple years later he had the voice he has now. Puberty!

Well, yeah the band members were only 15 when they released their first EP.

victimofreality 11-27-2005 02:31 PM
Join the handshake.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but yes, that is one of Greg's lame songs.

And it's shun the handshake.

Weezerfan_returns 11-27-2005 02:43 PM

When i saw them a few weeks ago, Brett wasnt there, just Greg Hetson and Brian Baker :( Why no Brett?

Drop The Baby 11-28-2005 05:31 AM

I read in an interview that he doesn't like to tour anymore, he said he's 'not a touring musician'.

I@ve seen them three times and he's not been there, probably too busy running epitaph. Or too lazy
