That's dedication. This isn't as much a hardcore/emo forum as it is a community of people that were at one time into hardcore, and are still friends.

I mean Matt and Chris obviously still like hardcore and emo, they just aren't as religiously blind in following the scene.

on topic: I dig a lot of the french stuff, even though it isn't very obscure at all. Look into bands like Belle Epoque, there has to be a lot of obscure foreign stuff.

that's all older stuff. fingerprint is ok. the song on the "all the presidents men" v/a is pretty good. not much compared to the other tracks though.

We're looking for some good bands to be playing with this summer. so add the band on myspace if you guys have one, and I'll try to work something out. One of our high school friends moved to philly and does this really weird Wolf Eyes-esque drone stuff that we'll be putting out a split floppy disk with. (which is ridiculous) He'll be getting me some shows over there so I'll let you know if you can jump on.

Our guitarist has the password to our page so idk.

You guys need better recordings, but I'm digging it, v. oldschool.

We recorded those right before i split for DC last august. All live one-takes comprised of a four track recorder, and three mtv karaoke mics. They're awful, I know, but thanks for the compliment! We'll be re-recording, and recording new stuff in a few weeks (hopefully). But it'd be awesome to play with you guys, so just get your guitarist to add us and let me know who you are.

The name is from Cat's Cradle, where that nihilist Sherman calls himself "National Chairman of Poets and Painters for Immediate Nuclear War"

We played a show on new years, before I headed back to school, at a church and the guy who introduced us said he was unwilling to say our band name. Then we played. He told us he'd never let us play again. hahaha

The names a wee bit pretentious, but the music at this point isn't all that serious. It could be worse, we used to be called

umm, not really any of that

traditional grind with sludge parts and usurp synapse rip off parts
