look at when you quoted me, that was my first post thus remains whole. I edited in more artists when i thought about them. You made a mistake, who cares if you try to argue your reasoning for a prolonged time, just stop posting about it. |
hey pmal, you may want to ask in the one of the other forums about most of those bands, most of them arent really rock or metal.(except maybe Incubus)
|

yeah incubus is my favorite by far, really hard to put them into a genre. I love all of their releases, from the very first when they were in their teens right up to their more mature releases, so i was really looking for replys for them |
Incubus get more love in Alt/Indie too, I think.

Hopefully this will catch peoples attentions about this : you obviously don't read the thread. This is about awnsering requests, not just randomly throwing out albums/songs for no reason. And if you are going to suggest something, just don't make a list. Give justified reasons behind it to give people insentive to check it out or spark some intrest.
Eh', reposting this because people don't seem to get it or its not clear enough. |

I know, but you might get better responses in a forum like Al/indie |
hey guys what are the best Pantera albums? Ones which are worth buying.
(sorry if Pantera was talked about earlier in this thread. I didn't bother reading thru all of the pages.) |

Can someone tell me a good Shredding (guitar) CD without all kinds of weird effects and vocals (unles te vocals are like real vocals), and just the guitar, drums, and bass.
|
I recommend MACHINE HEAD and GODSMACK and DROWNING POOL
Three best Heavy metal/hard rock bands out there. If you like Pantera or Metallica etc. I'm pretty sure you'll love at least one of them bands^ As for the person asking about best Pantera cds I'd say them all... They've all got a few songs with killer riffs on them. So no matter which one or ones you buy you're gonna like 'em. |

Meshuggah doesn't really have anything effects wise thats weird, but they do have the most messed up insane time signatures, so I'm not too sure if that's what you really want, but give em a try if you havent yet |
how do you shred, my guitarist doesn't know what shredding is, but he probly does it without knowing....
|

(sorry if Pantera was talked about earlier in this thread. I didn't bother reading thru all of the pages.)
I like vulgay display of power, far beyond driven, cowboys from hell(a little too old for me but still good), and that 101 offical live c.d. |

This is the wrong place to ask about that.
First post edited a little, in the spirit of things.
I think the problem is that once the thread has more than one page people just skip to the second and never really bother reading what the thread is about. |

Try a Racer-X cd;) |
Hey. i've noticed heaps of people have said Rush-2112. Can anybody tell me what era, what kinda music these guys are? Im into The Who, Pink Floyd, Early Metallica, David Bowie, Cream, Yes etc. Would i like Rush?
Thanks. |
If you like that many classic rock bands, you will LOVE Rush. Classic progressive rock. A lot like Yes, but with a fantastic bass player (Geddy).
|
^And a woman on vocals (Geddy).
I think the problem is that once the thread has more than one page people just skip to the second and never really bother reading what the thread is about.
Yeah. Better than nothing though. Hopefully. |
For the guy who wants the Steve Vai recommendation, I saw an anthology for sale. You could probably get some really good songs.
|

Yes has a fantastic bass player too. Chris Squire is arguably better than Geddy. |
I need Lamb of God songs.
I need Lamb of God songs.
Black Label Terror and Hubris in the House of Frank Polard Letter to the Unborn Pariah Ruin Devil in God's Country Vigil Purified Laid to Rest Ashes of the Wake The Faded Line Remorse is For the Dead |
