I'm fishing for a nice sounding, good looking bass guitar. Also i'd prefer if it were an active guitar because the sound of an active is so much more crisp. I play almost anything from ska to punk and a bit of metal.
I'm looking at a selection of three basses all are yamaha...they are: bb 605 trb-4-II rbx-375 my first question is .. does yamaha produce a decent quality of bass guitars? I find that they are quite good but what do i know.. I've really only played one bass in my whole life .. and its a Washburn xb-100.. next question is which of the three is a better buy? yes i do know that two outa those three are 5 strings.. that brings me to my next question.. is 5 strings really worth it..? |
does yamaha produce a decent quality of bass guitars?
next question is which of the three is a better buy? are 5 strings really worth it..?
Yamaha basses generally are very good, the lower range are good value in their range, and the higher end basses are used by alot of professional bassists. I think the RBX375 is the best 'value', with the TRB being the best bass (and most expensive). 5 strings are good if you intend to use the extra notes, and if you listen to bands that use them. |
behringer power pack 1 rattling speaker
I have a Behringer power pack 1. I think ive blown or damaged the top left speaker in the cab. on certain notes it sounds crap - the speaker rattle a horrible sound and its not on very loud at all!
can the speaker be fixed - what needs to be done and at what cost? please help |

hey, any chance someone could do a review, or pass on any knowledge, on Guild basses. specifically looking at a B402- A. But any information would be appreciated. cheers
