and you are also annoying

oops, not you nick

Unseen2k0 04-21-2005 08:17 PM
stza stoll plays guitar and the only guitarists in the band are him and ezra

you are dumb they sound almost exactly the same

your dumb kill yourself
Stza does *not* play guitar anymore. Brad and Erza do.
Choknig Victim has a lot more upbeats and less experimental stuff, and the lyrics are about different things.
You're dumb. Kill yourself.
its not like their afraid they have all their equipment and everything and if they got caught theyd get blamed for the whole thing
That would be being afraid. Do not defend them when you can't. It defeats the point, you just make yourself look dumb, and them bad.
have you ever heard their music i hope not because if you did you are a retard their music is amazing i can see how people can not like their lyrics but i love it and they are all better musicians than you will ever be
That is what most the Green Day fans say to me too. It's called "personal opinion" or you can use the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

Either way, quit being an asshole about it.

i don't like this kid sometimes, but i'm going to have to agree 100%

and way to make an idiot of yourself. saying that stza and ezra were the only guitarists in the band when you were totally wrong.

rancidrocksmyworld 04-22-2005 12:59 PM
who cares?...
rancid are good
leftover crack are good
..thats all that matters
i agree
i thought Stza was a member of the Wu-Tang Clan
You have Stza confused with the RZA and the GZA. :amaze:

Buzzbomb 04-22-2005 10:00 PM

Wu Tang suck. How anyone can confuse LoC with them is pretty ****ed.

SactoUnited 04-23-2005 01:57 AM

Wu Tang>LoC

SactoUnited 04-23-2005 02:00 AM
Why do LoC like the columbine shooting?
I might be wrong, but in one of the album booklets they say it was ****ed up. I think the "shoot the kids at school" thing was out of sarcasm.

This kid sucks.

No respect for others at all.

echos 04-23-2005 08:17 AM

well loc's music isn't amazing...it's good though..considering i can't even get far enough on the frets of my acoustic to play have the stuff, and they've got some fun basslines too. Wasn't the cover of fu'ck world trade mocking the actual buildings rather then the victims in them anyway? and i like they're lyrics but when i heard one dead cop i couldn't help but chuckle

Shut it you cunt

PaulRawNerve 04-23-2005 08:53 AM

always preferred choking victim over left over crack to be honest, LOC are too rough sounding, whereas 'no gods, no managers' is just awesome! 'Living The Laws' is just inspired as well, me being into more extreme music, this satisfies my needs for that too, but the whole album is just brilliantly done.

one question, i always thought it was noam chomsky talking in between the songs? am i right?

Jessizzle 04-23-2005 08:56 AM

Hm...Really, I Listen to LOC more, but musically CV are better.

PaulRawNerve 04-23-2005 09:02 AM

guess that's just personal preference really, there are one or two songs that both bands do isn't there? i can't remember which one(s), but have definitely heard, and CV just sounds loads better to me.

echos 04-23-2005 10:11 AM

loc and cv have both done born to die and infested..and probably some others and loc and mg have both done gang control

Nowhereman42 04-23-2005 12:12 PM

ever notice whenever LoC redoes songs they suck?

Infested, Rock the 40oz, etc

echos 04-23-2005 12:14 PM

who origonally did rock the 40 oz.?

echos 04-23-2005 12:15 PM

who origonally did rock the 40 oz.?
(and ya they slow down the tempo too, if anything make it faster..man)

Scabies 04-23-2005 12:16 PM

i thought that was just LoC?

Nowhereman42 04-23-2005 12:17 PM

no, I ment the redone version on FWT

as in they redid their own song

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 04-23-2005 12:36 PM
ever notice whenever LoC redoes songs they suck?

I do like their version of Rock The 40oz, although i've heard a few people say the Choking Victim one is better so that sing must be brilliant.

EDIT: maybe that's a different song i'm thinking of then?

Didn't Choking victim originally play Born To die but not record it or something like that?

Forest_Fire 04-23-2005 12:39 PM

Was Choking Victim ever recorded live?

Born to Die was recorded orginally by CV, and then LoC did it on Mediocre Generica, which is mostly songs written during the CV time.

cheeser_1 04-23-2005 02:53 PM

there's at least 3296392847 different versions of rock the 40 oz. some are better than others, but that's a matter of opinion. who fucking cares. you're comparing two bands that are practically the same, or the same band to itself. it doesn't mattter.

Violent&Funky 04-23-2005 05:13 PM

LoC's Rock the 40oz. video is pretty ****ed low budget, but hey, it was produced by Team Spider who put on (or at least used to) laughably (probably intentionally so) low budget Manhattan public access TV productions every once in a while. TS seem to be pretty cool guys though.

Also, I'd just like to point out to anyone who was complaining about the rainbow song (Muppet Namblin') LoC does...that's actually a satire of an old song written for the Muppet Movie that kermit performs (called "Rainbow Connection"), and it's basically the antithesis of the original while following the same basic song structure...again, it's called satirical commentary folks.
Was Choking Victim ever recorded live?
Yes I have a live version of "Born To Die"
ever notice whenever LoC redoes songs they suck?
I haven't heard The LoC version of Infested, can you e-mail it to me?

Come to think of it I haven't heard the CV version of Rock The 40 Oz either...

pedro durruti 04-23-2005 08:36 PM

I've never heard this so called LoC Infested

PaulRawNerve 04-23-2005 08:43 PM

see i don't see them as practically the same, even if it were the entire band that were the same members, i personally think they sound a fair bit different from each other.

KingOfSka 04-23-2005 08:45 PM

I've only heard 3 versions. A ****ty live version, the album version, and the video version

Buzzbomb 04-23-2005 09:23 PM

The video version is the album version
