Paint it Black are playing the church in July with the Loved Ones, that should be a good show.

I probably will be, but it looks like I'm going to Street Dogs/Adolescents that night. I still haven't decided.

Choking Victim at Tomkins Square Park yesterday was amazing. The line up was very bad but cv played really good. The guys from World/Inferno came on and sung a couple of songs with them. Good time

I saw Erik Petersen again on Friday. He was supposed to be with Evan Greer. If he was, it would have been awesome.

I saw one of the best live performances in a decade a few Fridays ago in Bethesda.

J Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines) was playing through material spread across his entire back catalog on an acoustic guitar with a cellist accompaniment. It was one of those pivotal moments in an artist's career, I think. The audience really realized how amazing and underrated Robbins is as a songwriter and arranger, and Robbins realized he could go beyond the angry rock frontman delivery that has dominated his career.

Totally epic, totally intimate. Took your breath away and gave you chills.
