they have a few good songs but they're mostly mehcity

Anyone heard Necrodemon (the US band)? I'd heard of them before but never actually heard them. Then I saw a bumper sticker with their logo the other day and looked them up again. Turns out they're from the area I'm working in now. Anyone know if they're worth looking into further? I need some new music.

I've heard of Stench of Decay and Ulcerate. I think I actually had one of Ulcerate's albums downloaded a while ago, before I dropped my laptop and had to replace the hard drive, but hadn't got around to listening to it and so I lost it when the hard drive got wrecked. Maybe I'll check them out again.

I haven't had internet at home for a really long time so it's been a bit hard to download new stuff. Anytime I needed to do anything online I've had to either do it from work or go to a coffee shop. Was able to piggy back off the neighbor at my old house, but then I moved and no one around me at my new place had an unsecured network until recently. I still don't have internet at my apartment but someone just moved into the apartment above me and they have an unsecured network so I can now piggy back off them.

Beats paying for it. If I were to get internet at my apartment it would be like $30/month. I could get it in a bundle and pay $50/month and have internet, cable TV and telephone, but that's beyond pointless to me. I have my cell so a landline is worthless, and my television is quite possibly the biggest waste of space in my entire apartment. I'm actually going to get rid of it as soon as I can be bothered to load it into the car and take it to a donation center. The only real purposes it serves are to watch DVDs (which I can do on my computer with a far better picture anyway) and to watch college football (which is done until the fall and my wife's pc has a TV tuner in it). Aside from that all my TV does is collect dust and get in the way. So it just doesn't make sense for me to pay for any of that stuff when I can piggyback internet for free and wouldn't use the other 2 things at all.

On a slight music note...the place I'm working at now has some pretty strict policies, one of which is regarding cell phones and "personal listening devices." It says something along the lines of "any device which requires headphones to hear is prohibited as they can be a distraction and pose a potential safety hazard." So I figured the guys in the shop have radios by their machines, why not bring a radio in for my desk? So I have my ipod and speakers on my desk. Gotta keep it turned down so it doesn't bother people in the cubes around me, but it makes it a lot more tolerable than just sitting in utter silence. Current playlist includes Akercocke, Bloodbath, Vehemence, Kreator, Naglfar and more.
