I dunno, I think it's a pretty loaded word. If you called someone "white trash", you wouldn't get near the reaction.

All racist words are just words, until you put something behind it that is racist. You can say "that guy is a ******" it wouldn't be racist, but saying something like "That guy is a stupid smelly ******, why doesn't he take a shower and get a job?" That would be racist.

well in sac there is a difference. i was walking back from my car and saw this skinny black guy over by it. he broke the window and tried to steal my radio, me and my friend got him. that is a ******. a black person is respectful to you and leaves you alone

not in my opinion. names dont hurt. I get called a jew at school all ****ING DAY and ive learned just to deal with it. they arn't gonna stop. at least one person a day tells me a jew joke. but ive learned to get over it. its not fueled by hate but by ignorance. i have a ton of black friends and they never, NEVER, start **** with anyone unless they are being ****ed with. well, where i go to school (oak park which is the worst ghetto around) there are crack addicts hanging around the school area. would you call them a respectable black person, NO. they were trying to steal from me. thats different
