He's just evil, but i see how you can draw the line to him being the devil, i think he makes an apperance in Hearts in Altantis.

Mr. Black 05-29-2006 09:20 AM

Naw, he is. He admits it right before he sends 'The Hand of God'.

I made this, too.

PAJJ 05-29-2006 09:24 AM

Does he? ok well you'd know i haven't read it in ages, i always thought he wasn't meant to be the devil, but more like a personifation of evil, in the good vs evil fight, which i suppose is kind of the devil really.

Lord Abortion 05-29-2006 10:04 AM

The Dark tower is the greatest series of Books ever written.

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 10:11 AM

Hey thread

Squirrel 05-29-2006 10:21 AM

He is not the devil, just because he claims he is the personification and epitomy of evil, doesn't mean he is the devil.

He is human.
i thought you'd be desperate for work lately
I am, I just hate working Bank Holidays :( It's usually dead in the shop.
Today was pretty good though, seeing as it was only an English holiday.
So I take back my sarcastic remark!

How are you all this fine day? :D

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 11:02 AM

Good thanks, and your fine self?

Just watched Zulu, the British pwned

Squirrel 05-29-2006 11:10 AM

11 victoria crosses were given that day

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 11:14 AM

They went a bit nuts with Michael Caine's eye shadow, but other than that it's a crackin' film

Mexican Bandito 05-29-2006 11:17 AM

I've never seen Zulu. My dad raves on about it so I'll need to watch it some day!

I'm super duper
Work was a hell of alot better than I expected it to be. I walked down to Tesco for my lunch and bought a big tub of strawberries and had a yoghurt! yum

So I know you're dying to tell me, how was Down? :)

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 11:30 AM

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH it was ace! Got right to the front

They started with Lysergik Funeral Procession and did a bunch of songs, then did three encores with Jail, Ghosts Along The Mississippi and Stone The Crow

And everything was sweet. Lots of beer, bouncers at the front were generous with water and stuff, everyone was cool. Bumped into about a dozen different people that we knew, we weren't expecting to see anyone.

Brilliant :)

Stoo 05-29-2006 11:58 AM

I saw Down on Saturday.

Phil was playing the guitar at the end after they'd finished, he was clearly out his face.
They said they'd never done Jail before in America, which was kewl. They didn't have a support, just showed this mad video thing.

Squirrel 05-29-2006 01:23 PM

Same.

Please tell me youre named after the great great album of your username.

Mid nineties comedies were great. Mrs Doubtfire too

"Sink the sub. Hide the weasel. Park the porpoise. A bit of the old Humpty Dumpty, Little Jack Horny, the Horizontal Mambo, hmm? The Bone Dancer, Rumpleforeskin, Baloney Bop, a bit of the cunnilingus? "
"Mrs. Doubtfire, please. "
"Oh I'm sorry, am I being a little graphic? I'm sorry. Well, I hope you're up for a little competition. She's got a power tool in the bedroom, dear. It's her own personal jackhammer. She could break sidewalk with that thing. She uses it and the lights dim, it's like a prison movie. Amazed she hasn't chipped her teeth."

Mexican Bandito 05-29-2006 04:05 PM

I LOVE Mrs Doubtfire
I used to wish I had her/him as a nanny!

Home Alone, Uncle Buck...
ahh
/reminisces

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 04:13 PM

Miranda: Are you ok?
Mrs. Doubtfire: Oh, I thought I saw Clint Eastwood, that would make my day! He is such a stud muffin!

Yeah, Groundhog Day too. Bill Murray's funny

 Ghostbusters was on today!

Lord Abortion 05-29-2006 04:15 PM

Yeah, they were awesome...Damn you Adam Sandler and your ruining of American film comedies!

/Shakes fist

PAJJ 05-29-2006 04:17 PM

Mexican Bandito 05-29-2006 04:18 PM

I've never seen Groundhog Day :( or the Ghostbusters that was on today. I've seen the first one though.

ARGH a spider just crawled along my desk and up behind my blind
/shivers

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 04:18 PM

He was pretty good in Waterboy, but if you watch Anger Management ... he can't seem to help but ruin it

Groundhog Day is very funny. So's the Ghostbusters films. They're done really well, there's the right amount of politiking with the mayor and stuff

Mexican Bandito 05-29-2006 04:34 PM

OOOh ouch.
I'm watching a show on Channel 5 about penises.
This guy was at work (on a building site) and his jogger bottoms got caught on a machine and his penis got mangled :(

Patrick O))) 05-29-2006 05:03 PM

 eeeeeeeee, that's gotta sting :(

Just played my dad Lies, I Don't Know What They Say But ... and Stained Glass Cross, he liked em  and that's going some for my dad and my heavier music :p

Lord Abortion 05-29-2006 05:11 PM
