Hopefully! I have a pretty bad flu at the moment and believe it or not, it is effecting my ability on guitar :upset:
But when I'm over it, I'm sure I can get at least all the rhythm to FWTBT down, I have been practicing it recently, and can do the rhythm pretty well, there's 1 week until holidays too, so I'll have my shed set up soon and get some better recordings.

I might also be able to get MX's Slapping Penguin to record some bass for us too (He lives like 15 minutes away), but all this will be at least 1 week... So... :p

Well I'm learning ajfa...the song, it's lots of fun, I had never really realized how repeteive

Alright, I've been thinking a bit lately, about the album covers (Specifically for Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets), I'm probably the only one, but I think the colours of the album covers (Blue and Red, respectively), [b]perfectly[/b] describe the albums!

Example, when I think of any song from Ride The Lightning, I think of some Dark Blue atmospheric background, and with Master of Puppets it's a Red/Firey background.

I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud.. :p

Me to, actually. And when I do think of AJFA, I do think of White/Silverish type colours.

I don't really think St Anger has that distinct colour theme like the albums you guys mentioned.

I mean like, when I listen to ANYTHING from Master of Puppets, whether it be MoP, Leper Messiah or Orion, I just think of this violent red.

And with Ride The Lightning, whether it's RTL, Fade To Black, or The Call of The Ktulu, I think of this Dark Blue depressing atmosphere.

me too....its weird...the color red is especially apparent in the battery intro...i dont know what it is...

It would be nice to get some more info on the crash. Mainly on why it was caused. I know the driver said black ice, but none was found. Jaymz said he smelled alcohol on the driver's breath. The police said that the skid marks showed up like an asleep-behind-the-wheel accident. Metallica would be much different if Cliff hadn't died. They wouldn't have needed therapy, at least yet, and wouldn't have released St. Anger. I like St. Anger, but for Metallica, it really is no where near as satisfying as pre-Load stuff(though they had their good ones on the Load albums). Cliff was ****ing awesome, and next year it'll be 20 years....**** shame. September 27 is a special day for me, I've always done something in his memory, and next year I'll probably record Anesthesia, Ktulu, and Orion for it. I'd do it this year if I had a bass, much less a distortion pedal for Anesthesia. But the forums will be the first to see the recordings.

I get it too....and on Orion I see like a winding road and then a toppled bus, guys standing around it, and a pair of feet sticking out from under the bus, all red. Very powerful feeling....

Cliff 'em All is awesome... I love the scenes when there drinking and hes like "don't move!" and James like holds his arms in the air and freezes. :lol: But the concert footage is great to.

I Think Metallica Died when Cliff did. AJFA sound hollow and i think everything from the black album onwards is awful. The 1st three albums are the best
