Ah, it just seemed kind of random.
Festival Express > Woodstock
I really like Woodstock but I've never seen Festival Express so I can't disagree. |
Festival Express > Woodstock
That's a big statement right there. Woodstock was more about the hippies than the music though. So it may be true. |
Ah, it just seemed kind of random.
Festival Express > Woodstock
Maybe music wise, but Woodstock represents a lot more. |
Im starting up the new fourm poll its on the 100 Greatest Guitarists. Make sure you guys nominate. :)
Done. I might have to change a few though, cause I had to fill some spots becasue I couldn't think of 25. |
I just downloaded that Dead show from The Fillmore East in '71 with Duane Allman. I can send it to people if they want but I'm putting this baby onto a cd.

Who's the guitarist for QMS?

Will it be televised? Can you change my Randy Bachman to Robert Johnson? I was going to put him and B.B. but then I thought it had to be R&M. |

I'm supprised nobody else but me has put Muddy Waters in the top 25. I feel he has done quite a bit for rock don't you guys?
|
There are other who have done more. And just because he is influential is no reason to put him on.
|
That depends on your standereds for what makes a great guitar player. My top standered is exploring a new idea that influences generations to come. I think Waters certainly did that seeing how there is NO rock band that cannot trace their influence back to him.
|
I wanna see the rock and roll hall of fame, it's next saturday isn't it?
|

Yeah, he was influential but there are better guitarists than him. |
This is the best Canadian export I've heard in a while:

The place or the ceremony? The place if ****ing awesome, I recommend anyone to go there. |
I recommend you go to the Rock 'n' Roll vault in Orlando, Florida. Much more interesting than the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
RNR HOF do have a couple of Garcia's spare guitars, or replicas of his Tiger, and Wolf. Which I thought was pretty cool. |
I was at the Rock abd Roll Hall of Fame. I was little, so all I remember was a giant Wall cover hanging from the ceiling and a wax model of slash.
|
I wanna go to the rock n roll hall of fame. it sounds like a fun place
but i have been to Orlando's Hard Rock Cafe. That place has everything, its really cool |
Yeah I guessed it from the start.
More Eyes of the World bootlegs. http://web1.nugs.net/stash.asp Shi it didn't work but all you do is go to song then scroll down to Eyes of The World and click on it then click search. A bunch of versions come up.
Thanks, but only one of them was available for download. :upset: EOTW is my favorite Dead song ATM. :) |

Anybody familiar with The Eleventh House or Return to Forever? My dad pulled out a few cds for me to check out and I'm ripping them now.
