Beyonce.

I'm watching the 100 most shocking moments of rock and roll.

Alice Cooper killed a chicken on stage in Toronto while doing a show with The Doors and John Lennon.

Yeah Toronto.

Badmoon 03-11-2005 09:52 PM

He didn't kill the chicken, the crowd did.
Not sure yet. I've only listened to them a little, because I bought several other CDs around the same time (ten, over two days, actually). Sugar Magnolia is a good song though, I knew that already.
Tell us how you like them when you get a better listen :)

True. He just wanted the chicken off the stage.

*Downloading The Notorious Byrd Brothers*

Does anyone have The Band's self titled?

Broken Arrow 03-11-2005 10:15 PM
True. He just wanted the chicken off the stage.
Yeah but then Frank Zappa told him that he should tell everyone he killed it.

I only have the Bands Greatest hits.

MalcolmYoungRock 03-11-2005 10:43 PM

But, the number one was no suprise at all.

Yeah I guessed it from the start.

More Eyes of the World bootlegs.

http://web1.nugs.net/stash.asp
Shi it didn't work but all you do is go to song then scroll down to Eyes of The World and click on it then click search.

A bunch of versions come up.
But, the number one was no suprise at all.
Only because it is truly the most shocking. I mean you could argue Hendrix or sombody who overdoesed, but John wans't into heavy drugs, and the fact he was shot nobody saw that coming.

Badmoon 03-11-2005 10:52 PM

Though it may sound very expected...

Anyone else surprised Garcia's death wasn't on there?

Well in comparisson he had lived a lot more of a full rock and roll life then those others who died, but still just as tragic. Nice avatar :thumb: "marijuana, exibit A"

Oh well the Jerry said Marijuana exibit A while holding a joint on the Woodstock movie, and on the album the threw it in at the end of Country Joe and the Fish's "Rock and Soul Music" just a little Jerry humor.

Ah, it just seemed kind of random.

Festival Express > Woodstock

Woodstock 03-11-2005 11:36 PM

I remember seeing Jerry do that in the movie.

You'll probably get a bunch of shred whores that will never sell 10000 albums in their lives because their music sucks.

My choices will be on what nice sounds come out of their amps and/or sound holes.

Umm yeah, the greatful dead is cool :)

I had the chance to get "songs from the wood" by Jethro Tull today. Is it any good? ( in comparision to Thick as a brick, Aqualung and Stand Up?). I'm figuring that there would be more flute playing than usual :/
