What album did you get?
Your avatar is awesome. That's quite possibly the funniest flash video to date. |

What album did you get?
Dechristianize. I fucking love it. There's so much blesphemous insgnia plastered all over the thing that I'm surprised it was actually released like that. I have yet to hear any of their old stuff, but I've heard good things about it. I'd like to hear what they sound like without Glen Benton. |
I almost dread to ask, but what's that like?
Hahahah, it's terrible. I gave it one-and-a-half stars, and that was being lenient. I rated it a three in the comments section to piss off Nick/DFelon because he was being a dick about me reviewing it. I spent quite awhile reviewing the album - it was the same length [basically] as all my other reviews, but he felt the need to blast it - so I tried to argue him down. Like one review is wasting his time, he didn't have to click it, blah blah blah. I got into it with him for a long time, but Med fortunately cleaned up a majority of the comments, although we shared a laugh about it on MSN. It got so bad, that I was mocking his picture in the MX Photo Album... but seriously, get a load of that tie he's wearing. Bwahahaha. So yes. There are maybe two good songs on the entire album, and the rest is laughable. I can send you those two songs on MSN, if you're feeling curious/bored as hell, if you'd like. EDIT: shoot. I forget what I wanted to say. |
It seems like you and Nick have it out quite often. :p Every other time I hear you mentioning one of your reviews, I hear "And Nick bitched about it.."
Either that, or maybe Nick just likes to bitch. |
How long does it take for your list to update on audioscrobbler?

He usually stays out of my reviews and I don't really ever post in his reviews (save for his CTTS one and a couple other ones he's written) because I know how volatile things can be - intentional or not. To be fair, I wasn't really pissed off at him - it was just another reason for me to start a BS argument with someone who thought I was being serious. |

Fine, I see how it is  Of course, I'm kidding. But when you do feel the need to laugh at something that isn't supposed to be funny, then you know where to look. In other news, I'm uploading pictures from this weekend from my child assessment project that I have to do for my child development class... hopefully, you'll get a kick out of the story/pictures. |

Neither have I. Is he a solo rapper or is he in a group? |
Alright, if anything, this should grab Jelle's attention, since he likes little children. Sorry, though, the child I assessed is a boy :p
And if you don't care about things like this, then don't bother commenting. Hell, don't even read it. /// For my child development class at uni, I had to run simple tests with a little kid and record their interactions/answers. The prof gave us a guideline for what we could use... either three tasks with one child or one task with three children. So, when I went home this weekend, I went to my church and got my priest's son to help me out. Since I know I'm going to get "WTF, priests can't marry and have kids, only molest them LOL!" types of responses from some idiots (not necessarily here, but if I posted this in The Pit...), I'm going to reiterate that I'm not Roman Catholic. So anyways, the different tasks we could do were moral reasoning (self-explanatory), representation (drawing figures, maps, etc.), conservation of matter (self-explanatory), and digit span (memorization of numbers 0-9 with flash cards, increase the cards by one until the child errs on two numbers in the set). Since my buddy is four, I figured conservation of matter would be easiest. /// The three conservation tasks I had to do involved conservation of liquid (pour into two identical shorter glasses an identical amount of drink, ask if they're the same, when the kid says they are, take one of the glasses and pour it into a taller, thinner glass... which one has more and why, etc.), conservation of matter (play-doh fun... are these balls the same... when they are, roll them into different shapes, ask if they're the same amount, roll them back into a ball, are they the same, etc.), and conservation of number (have the kid do as you do with poker chips, ask if they are the same [he should say yes, since he mimiced you], then smush his row together and separate mine out, ask if they're the same, etc.). /// And, it's picture time. This is my buddy Simon. Again, he's one of my priest's sons, and he's four years old. The first task we did was the conservation of liquid task. Again, I had to use similar, shorter glasses first, like so. Are they the same? He says yes. Now, I poured one of the shorter glasses into a taller glass, like this. Are they the same? He says no. Which one has more? He says the one on his right. I ask him why that one has more, and he says it's because the glass is taller. Even though this wasn't required, I asked him to make the tall glass and the small glass equal. He did this by drinking out of the taller glass. I should have poured the tall glass back into the short glass and watch him go  But then again, drinking three glasses of soda would have killed the kid, heh. /// Next we did conservation of matter. I opened up two new jars of Play-Doh, and asked him if the balls were the same size. He said no. I thought, "What!" but as soon as he held them up, he said that they were the same. Picture. Then, I took the balls of clay and had to transform them into various shapes. Each time, I had to ask if the balls of Play-Doh were the same. He said no every time, even when I rolled the shapes back up into a ball. /// Lastly, conservation of matter. To start things off, I stacked mine up and asked him to follow suit, and he did. Then, I told him, "Do what I do." I had to just make a row of poker chips. He did this quite well. I asked if our rows were the same, and he said yes. Then, I had to change our rows up, so I did this. I asked him if our rows had the same or if one had more, and he said that mine had more. I asked him, "Where did the more come from?" and he shrugged. /// Of course, I have to transform all this into a humongous paper, but this is a sampler. Hope you enjoyed :) |
I like it. It's funny how little kids percieve things, luckily I learned stuff like that when I was really little because my brother Dave was in College at the time, and he would just teach me stuff.
Neither have I. Is he a solo rapper or is he in a group?
He's released a solo album (last year, I think; I haven't heard it), but I think he's mainly known as one half of Blackalicious, along with Chief Xcel. Is there another (solo) rapper called Blackalicious?
Even though this wasn't required, I asked him to make the tall glass and the small glass equal. Pfft! Like I can question your expertise of perceiving drunken behaviour, Mr. Bartender, sir!
I was thinking the exact same thing..
:( You guys are so mean. Why would I drug up a four year-old when I don't even drink myself? Hahaha. |
So, I was expirimenting with my shiny new "adblocker" plug-in for Firefox, and I clicked on Jom's avatar. Now, I can't see it. Is there any way I can get it back, or do I just have to go with an avatarless Jom forever?
