it was fairly specialized, but ive had plenty of general papers that were marked out of 10 and even a few that were out of 1 using decimal points instead of full numbers
anyway like i said the prof decides what the marking scheme is and if your papers are out of 50 or 20 or 100 or whatever it really doesnt say anything about the course or the paper itself so stop being such a dick head
Ya dude but soc sci classes aren't like that. I can't rememba any soc sci paper of any importance being graded out of 20. |
P.S. a lot of people on here misuse antisocial. Social retards and "sociopaths" are completely different.
Social retards are generally labelled as "creepy" due to their inability to communicate, while "sociopaths" are generally considered "charming" due to their ability to manipulate others in social situations. |
they aren't generally considered charming
they just can be considered charming spare us the lectures until you've taken more than a couple of weeks of introductory classes |
This isn't an introductory level class.
Spare the criticism until you know what you're criticizng. ;) And IDK text book and teacher both said generally.
Ya dude but soc sci classes aren't like that.
This isn't an introductory level class.
spare us the lectures until you've taken more than a couple of weeks of introductory classes
was gonna say this but i'm getting soft just remembered that i bought girl scout cookies. why. |
i know what i'm criticising
which is why this shit is so patronising
Which is why you said introductory level course. |
i said introductory classes not introductory level course
|
It's not the introductory class, so you're still wrong.
Why can't you kids just be like, "oh I was wrong and this person heard different from me?" |
well it clearly is if your teacher is telling you that sociopaths are 'generally considered charming'
and you are telling us this, unprompted, like you've just discovered this little revelatory nugget |
P.S. a lot of people on here misuse antisocial. Social retards and "sociopaths" are completely different.
Social retards are generally labelled as "creepy" due to their inability to communicate, while "sociopaths" are generally considered "charming" due to their ability to manipulate others in social situations.
Lol is this what they are teaching you in college. I knew this in like gr9. |
well if i remember correctly tons of people who werent psych majors at my uni were taking abnormal psych just cuz they thought it'd be cool
not sure if intro to psych was even a prerequisite |
It's a prerequisite at my school, and for my major. Was such a waste of time, but whatever, transferable credits are transferable credits.
well it clearly is if your teacher is telling you that sociopaths are 'generally considered charming'
How is it clearly the introductory course if it literally isn't the introductory course? |
what is the class called? abnormal psych?
if so, that's an introductory course |
Yes, it's just called abnormal psych, not even abnormal psychology. There's not even a course number.
In other news, attacking people based on assumptions when they were pointing out that you misused the term antisocial totally makes you smart. |
well now you dont have to be a dicklicker
|
Just acting accordingly to my company.
haha your taking a soc sci and talking down to someone for taking an online class?
you are a fucking joke
I know. Lol, seriously. Criminology is at least a bit more specialized and not as much as a joke as psychology and sociology. But Mappy was/is taking an online soc sci class  |
How is it clearly the introductory course if it literally isn't the introductory course?
i'm gonna break this down for you you have not been doing this class for very long the prerequisites for this course are rudimentary at best you are learning things which are part of the popular perception of the subject you are studying and which are sweeping generalisations that are not diagnostically definitive you are telling us these things like you are just hearing about them because you feel really smart for taking a low-level course on an unscientific subject you are being a shitmuncher |
Mappy just got owned for denying taking an intro course.
 |
A majority of 1st 2nd year classes are intro.
Mappy are you really this dumb? Leave the thread before it's too late. |
Good thing it's neither.
i'm gonna break this down for you you have not been doing this class for very long
Let me break this down for you: Everything you're saying is an inaccurate assumption.
the prerequisites for this course are rudimentary at best
How many times do I have to explain to you that this ISN'T the introductory class?
you are learning things which are part of the popular perception of the subject you are studying and which are sweeping generalisations that are not diagnostically definitive
Based off of one statement I made when explaining something really simple in passing?
you are telling us these things like you are just hearing about them because you feel really smart for taking a low-level course on an unscientific subject
Or somebody misused a term and I corrected them. You're repeatedly telling me that this course is a different level than it actually is, so you really have no room to make this point.
you are being a shitmuncher
No, you're being assumptive and pretentious. |
Just acting accordingly to my company.
nah man i pretty civilly just pointed out to you that you're probably taking an intro course to be fair most courses anyone's gonna take in undergrad are gonna be introductory until senior year. i know exactly what your situation is, most undergrad programs are the same. the reason you keep saying this isn't "the introductory class" is because you're being dense and banking on the fact that intro to psych is the only introductory psych class. we're not going to hold this shit against you |
