Yep, rabidly stupid dance-punks. Sounds about right. Last ten minutes were about as tense as !!! at a GOP convention. Did the Croatian guy really have three yellows? I missed the first half, but thought the announcer guy was just being paranoid. Seems like the Refs have been categorically :confused: all through the tournament.

Yeah. Most of the referees are bad. Some call too many fouls, others don't call obvious ones because they don't want to disrupt the flow of the game. Or at least that's what those dickheads on ESPN are saying.

The dudes who announce the games on ESPN are the worst. They dumb everything down. Which I guess is how us Americans like it. So yeh.

I usually watch the games on the spanish channels, but I change it whenever someone scores a goal. I don't think the 'O' in goal needs to be held for 20 minutes.

I just did a search for "ESPN soccer announcer" because I was trying to remember the name of the english announcer who does some of the games, who I like. But apparently, everyone hates these fu[I]c[/I]kers.

The referees seem afraid to award penalties or something. Australia missed out on two blatantly obvious penalties on top of the one they were given. So frustrating.

So they published the lollapalooza lineup. All the bands I wanted to see are playing on the second day, and the way they're scheduled I'd either have to miss some, or only see full sets by Flaming Lips and Lyrics Born (with little bits of Gnarls, Blackalicious, Dresden Dolls, and Sonic Youth). I'm not going to go.

I had the busiest day at work ever.

Having said that, tonight is my last night on MX for about a week or so as I am off to New York on holiday. Yay!

Yeah, Healey and Smyth. They're at least passable. I guess all sports commentators kinda suck to some degree, though. I mean, when John Madden can hold a position for decades, you know the profession doesn't really require a whole lot.
