Yeah, i'm thinking I don't like to get rained on outside, I think it stands for inside as well.
I thought last night, I wonder if they have all the thunder and rain effects from 10,000 Days.
I thought this last night. Imagine they could have a black sheet across the ceiling of the building, and have lightning projected onto that. And, have sprinklers to sprinkle rain onto you during the build up of the song. That would be so amazing.
A natural rain sound would be great, but that black sheet is crucial. getting wet would be lame. |
Agreed.

Could someone post the 10,000 Days (album) lyrics? I'm really enjoing the lyrics too Right in Two and 10,000 days right now.
I think it's a solid album, with good songs on it. I think Wings, Right in Two, and The Pot are amazing, while the rest of the album is very good. Maybe nothing too ground-breaking, but a really enjoyable album non-the-less (to me at least). Also, i'll say it again, since I haven't said it in a couple pages : If anyone has tickets to the Dallas show, and would like to trade for 2 tickets to the Kansas City show, i'd really be interested. I'd be completely willing to throw in some cash as well, say $50-75 plus the two KC tickets for 2 dallas ones. They are balcony seats, pretty close to the edge, should be great seats. I know it's a long shot, but if someone is in the same situation i'm in, let me know. |
To me, 10,000 Days is definitely better than Lateralus.

Though nothing is comparable to Third Eye in greatness/originality for Tool songs, some songs on this album come close. |

This week doesnt have much going for it, so I can sacrifice it. |

I wonder is there was this much whinning whenever Lateralus came out..?
Unfortunately, I was one of those who discovered Tool after their last launch. The excitment for this CD though is great..! Sure, tons of people have heard the entire thing already, but I'm proud to say I'm riding on a high of wondering what the album is going to sound like to me. It is going to be a sweet, sweet moment indeed.. |
you wont be disappointed :thumb:

Intension is so very underrated.
Completely gay.
Leave it at that, everything before would be misunderstood anyway. |
Intension is so very underrated.
That is one of my favorites songs on this album. I love the riff and calming vocals, not to mention the tabla. It's like the Disposition of this album, to me at least. I love Right In Two even more though, those songs go great together. |

I really like the instrumental bits, but I really don't like Maynards singing in it. |

Heh, thats becoming the staple comment for all these new songs I think |
right in two is about black people "they make a club and beat hteir brother down" "monkey killing" "survive so misguided is a mystery" obvious plus the album is very tribal so yep

Grow the fuck up. And get the fuck out. |
Heh, thats becoming the staple comment for all these new songs I think
Well, over all i think Maynards vocals are really good on this album, especially on 10,000 Days, and in the pot at around 4:10, that part kicks *** even though it's really short :\. Intension is the only song I have a problem with his singing...it wrecks the whole song for me. |
its obvious are you guys retarded just because the message is immature doesnt mean you have to hate me

The album sounded amazing in my car today. We sat in it at lunch because we were bored and i showed my mate it, he'd been locked up at his GF's and hadn't even heard vicarious...hahaha.
His opinion was the tracks up to the pot were cool, then he was bored untill intension/right in two came on..but even they weren't the most exciting thing heard. He'd have liked the album to carry on with the more mainstream tracks for a while longer at least... |
I noticed an increase in quality of Vicarious after listening to it in a car. Maybe it likes public exposure more?
