Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:46 PM

My sister doesnt bother asking. Usually i confuse them by removing drumsticks and pedal beaters beforehand.

Janeway 04-22-2006 05:48 PM

God.
I've already threatened to choke him if he so much as look at my kit.
If he goes down there, the first thing he'll do it take that big sexy Silver Fox 2S marching stick and hit my paper-thin O-Zone crash as hard as he can on the edge and crack it in half.
And then he wont give me the cash to buy a new one.
No.
He'll go over and use some god damn glue and tell me it's fine.

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:49 PM

So remove the stick from the kits general area.

Snarz 04-22-2006 05:49 PM

^^^Haha.Good idea.

Janeway 04-22-2006 05:51 PM

Yeah, but then I'd end up forgetting where I put it and lose them forever.

I love my favorite pair of maple sticks for 2 years before finding them in the exact spot I hid them under the couch.

Drum Phil 04-22-2006 05:52 PM

So put them somewhere prominent in your room.

I dont think ive ever seen your kit y'know

Berk 04-22-2006 05:53 PM

Nice set...

I want to know the specs but I feel like it would be a wrong question lol...

Janeway 04-22-2006 06:19 PM

That floor top was actually propped up by my old baby books. It took a lot of effort to get it in that crappy position, thank you very much.

Panopticon 04-22-2006 06:34 PM

sixth chords are my least favourite chords

Berk 04-22-2006 06:35 PM

The only things computers are good for are MX and Porn.

Seafroggys 04-22-2006 06:39 PM
sixth chords are my least favourite chords
you kidding me? A6 is one of my favorite chords. I used that chord way too much in the rock opera i wrote.

Panopticon 04-22-2006 06:42 PM

they sound nice, but they're a bitch to play. I like C6 and B6...very jazzy...well MORE jazzy then the others.

Elmo McCheese 04-22-2006 06:46 PM

Diminished chords are cooler, gives you that "lady tied to the train tracks about to be run over" feel. If you know what I mean.

Janeway 04-22-2006 06:47 PM

If I ever become famous and hit the top of the charts, I'm going to make an album where every song on there ends abruptly and not on the tonic....

Berk 04-22-2006 06:57 PM

I hate songs that fade away.

Janeway 04-22-2006 06:58 PM

Mmph.
Improvisation et Caprice has a fantastic ending.

Berk 04-22-2006 07:07 PM

I love songs that are super slow/quiet then They like get really loud.

Futuro 04-22-2006 07:08 PM

Dynamics FTW :)

Panopticon 04-22-2006 07:14 PM

Berk 04-22-2006 07:16 PM
I like fish.
I had salmon tonight. and it was damn good.

fishbulb 04-22-2006 08:31 PM

Anybody else hate how much peart's kit moves as he plays on it? Here's an example: http://drummerworld.com/Videos/neilpeartwaltz.html

Just playing the pedals it's moving like crazy.

aznriceball 04-22-2006 08:32 PM

i like that super skinny stand holding up that front crash.

**just saw it. rofl at all the toms just dancin

fishbulb 04-22-2006 08:34 PM

I don't like how his kit is setup really. Especially the cymbals seem way out there and he has to really lean in just to be able to choke (hit them then grab them) the cymbals.

Double Bass Jim 04-22-2006 08:37 PM

He's playing on a platform thats why the drums shake like that

Not to mention he hits extremely hard

Futuro 04-22-2006 08:38 PM

Peart > Lang at instruction of independance.

fishbulb 04-22-2006 08:38 PM

Why would a platform change anything? Or is the rack not level or something?

Double Bass Jim 04-22-2006 08:43 PM

It's shakey

There all singular poles plugged into his platform it's gonna shake no matter what

aznriceball 04-22-2006 08:45 PM

Nice fill, The hihat chicks between chops makes it cool.

Double Bass Jim 04-22-2006 09:06 PM

Yeah gotta catch it just right

Kinda of a rip of the by-tor fill, thats the idea I was using
