I have something to upload that you Metalli-fans might like. It's my own cover of Fade to Black, only with no drums, bass or singing. Also, it was made with crude Windows Movie Maker editting techniques, and recorded with headphones lol. Also a bad guitar with a bad amplifyer played by a horrible guitarist who can't play Fade to Black if it would save his life. It would destroy everything even the most hardcore of Metallica fans love about Fade to Black. Still, I think anybody will laugh at the crappness of it. Oh, and I can't play the end solo, so it just fades off at the riff before it.

Well, the beginning needs work, you need to work on getting the solo together.
The verse is great.
The chorus is ok, sounds like you have a fender 15 watt or something, a little too much distortion. You need to be slightly faster in some places and watch out for hitting open strings.
2nd solo's okay, needs more work.
Interlude's okay until the triplet bit, that needs to be faster.
Then it really goes to pot, you gotta palm mute the open E.

Seeing how long you've been playing it's a pretty difficult song, the verse was awesome but nearly everything else needs work (sorry :( )
But don't worry practice it more and you'll get it down and be playing it like Hammett. After all it took me from December '03 to August last year to even pick my guitar up and start learning stuff, so at least you're playing.
