you've made me aware personal experiences in specific situations are obviously things that the internet doesn't really have unless you specifically communicate with others whom are older and more experienced in certain ways.
why have you narrowed down that so much? the majority of participants on the interent are of our generation and so don't have the life experiences that our elders have.

besides, i'd say this is a pretty rare site forum on the internet where you could get some good advice on things from people

i've found that i've needed my parents advice more now that i'm moving from the world i do know - education - to the adult world of jobs, responsibilities, independence, etc.

adbforever 08-22-2011 06:26 AM

implying I would date a girl who'd want to start a family ever
it means that cultural traditions are more for special situations, as I've stated.

reviewing people on the internet doesn't work and can't because getting personal can equate to a lot of potential trouble with anyone you know irl

there is no perceived risk with strangers, however.
In an attempt to stray from this discussion and post an actual photo (this is the photo album thread after all):

Eh, true.
it depends on the marriage. a dyfunctional one is awful for raising kids, staying together just for the sake of their kids..I have first hand experience of that

my rebuttal is DON'T HAVE KIDS. I could never be w/ a girl who wanted kids

I'm adamant in my view of kids. They're god awful.
You're the size of kids. Do you find them threatening? What's their salt and or taste rating?

Anyway, do what makes you happy man. But realise that your viewpoint is pretty weird and if you voice it don't expect people to keep quiet.

Morumbar 08-22-2011 07:30 AM

I wouldn't want to have children of my own, but working with children is pretty cool (above age 12 or so, that is).

nodding 08-22-2011 07:33 AM

2muchket! 08-22-2011 07:34 AM

nodding 08-22-2011 07:39 AM
