Personally, with the way all of these bands are trying to be progressive now, I feel that BTBAM did have some type of impact with that. Plus it's a classic.

Why does every idiot think that? New Counterparts sounds like every other stupid mediocre hardcore band trying to be More Than Life or Modern Life is War. It's frustrating.

Edit: Also. I'm proud to say I grew out of BTBAM. They're not really metalcore after Alaska. And I would probably still really enjoy them if they knew what the term "songwriting" meant. I mean, they're impressive and all that cool stuff... but they need to learn how to write songs.
