Sorry to post here. It's I didn't know you played bass sketchyjoe...I also break lots of strings. That's for playing with pick I guess... :rolleyes:

I hardly ever break strings and i play with a pick. But i then again haven't played my base for ages

That's the first string I've broken playing fast. The others I broke playing really slowly.

But I don't know why, when I use a pick, even if I play slow, it's like the strings are being "hurt". I think that playing during lots of time without stop makes them easier to break. When I play chords it's when it uses to break

EDIT: I was exagerating when I said I break lots of strings. I mean that bass strings are not usually broken, and in two years I broke like 6 strings, not a good average....

I think I was asking for it this time. I couldn't find a pick so I was playing with a coin.

hahaha true, I did break a string like that. In the garage where me and my band use to play...It's all messed up so the only thing I had was a 50 cents coin. The E string lasted for about 15 minutes. Notice that I always break E and A (?¿)

I always break E and A too. I play with coins all the time but this is the first time I've broken a string with one.

Well I don't use to play with coins. I always go with a pick on my pocket. That time it was because the guitarrist always forgets his picks and i thought that playing guitar with a coin would be dangerous and it wouldn't sound neat.

It really sucks having a sister in the same high school as you. She is a freshman and I'm a senior. The bad part is, my last period teacher lets me skip his class and leave school. But now I have to go back there and pick her up.

It sucks having a sophomore brother. He used to sit with me at lunch last year.

Oh, yeah that would suck. But since my sister hates me, she wouldn't do that. Plus, I get all 4 of our lunches instead of one half hour block. Senior year = kick ace.
