I reckon it depends on what member that leaves. If Kirk left I reckon they'd still sell as many albums.

If Kirk left it wouldn't change the current state of Metallica. The way there were no solos/lead parts on St. Anger Kirk didn't have a studio purpose. The sweetest thing ever would have been if David Ellefson joined as the bassist and then Kirk kicked out and Dave Mustaine replaces him.

Call me stupid, dumb, whatever, but I've always wanted to see that, or even just like one "Metallideth" concert.

That's what I was thinking. James is obviously the key member with singing and riff writing. With Lars, he's the most contraversial member of the band, which sells records, funnily enough. Still comes across as a git though.

awww I dont know how to play four horsemen :( especially not the lead. BTW i have come to the conclusion master of puppets is my favourite album :)

I can play the 2nd Four Horsemen solo but i can't record :(

No I'm taking a class at the college called garage band. We can play covers or original songs. I was asking for a good song to bring in from Metallica that a guitarist can sing over etc, etc. I got a few good suggestions and I decided on the four horsemen.



I think everyone here got kinda bored of the cover thing. Being that I can't record or upload anything anymore because of me being banned from using the computer at home, I'm pretty much out of the project. I cant even download your guys' stuff to see if it's good.



You guys should try playing the 4 horsemen dropped down a whole step. The main gallop riff sounds wicked in that tuning. :thumb:
