listened to the blood bros last night, band rules

RetiredAt21 03-24-2009 10:38 AM

I had no idea Kaospilot were still around. Their split with Neil Perry is legendary, especially the Neil Perry side.
Arm Your Fists is so good. other than that their grindy stuff (dare I say, EMO VIOLENCE!y stuff) is kickarse. but I will have to listen to this new album as well, I guess.
no, you daren't. seeing as even if emo violence were a genre, it wouldn't be that. but it's not, so you don't even have to worry about it

The Blood Brothers are ****ing brilliant

RetiredAt21 03-24-2009 06:54 PM

What does the new Kaospilot stuff sound like?

MMMBop 03-24-2009 08:11 PM

imo 'Ad Infinitum' has a distinct sludgey-doom feel to it... the rest of the album they keep pretty fast.

emaillovesyou 03-26-2009 12:32 PM

Really? You really missed this much? xD

90's indie-emo needs Elliott Smith

And I'm baffled that the smiths and the cure both missed your list.

Also, how about the flaming lips?

Weezer even!

It seems that we're all just posting bands that were outspoken about how depressing **** was. That's not what emo is about.

Should I see End of a Year next week? y/n

I don't like any of the bands they're playing with and it costs 8 bucks.

RetiredAt21 03-27-2009 11:36 AM

Do it.

Mute Print 03-27-2009 11:46 AM

End of a Year is so good. They played a basement show here last year.

cbmartinez 03-27-2009 12:23 PM

team_racket 04-01-2009 10:41 AM

Nice. Wonder how much it will go for

christsimpson 04-01-2009 10:58 AM

that's really expensive. especially your Neil Perry/Kaospilot one. but I'd like pretty much every one of those records.
