How can you not be harsh on a singer that looks and sings like a extremly ugly woman who writes horrible lyrics?
*sigh* it'd be nice if you gave some semblance of speaking truthfully. Plant is a good singer. Don't pretend he isn't because you'd be wrong. Go listen to the debut Album, Plant is a good singer. Sure they did some weird stuff with his voice and some of it sounded prety bad, but then again Zeppelin did a number of things like that in their later stuff that really really was not a good Idea, and alot of it wasn't plant himself, just what they decided to do with the vocals.

Plant is better than he gets credit for, not only that but he gets harsh, completely overexxagerated coomments like the ones you made. Seriously.

This isn't up for debate. I hate his singing it's my opinion sure but it's not a wrong opinion. From what I hear he gets plenty of credit I think he's massively overrated not underrated.

Glitterati 06-25-2005 11:28 PM

So I heard something on the radio today. There's a music festival a little north of Vancouver this summer, and Pete Townshend is putting in a special appearance. I'm trying to find out how to go, but I don't have much detail.

clown_phobia 06-26-2005 01:19 AM

Do you guys prefer The Who - Who's Next or Live at Leeds?

And also, what's George Harrison - All things must pass like?

White_heat 06-26-2005 01:28 AM

I personally prefer Who's Next, but Live at Leeds is also a great album, you can't go wrong.

rockinbass17 06-26-2005 07:02 AM

^ It's hard to compare a live album with a studio album, but Who's Next is more listenable. Although with Leeds you can hear the raw power of the Who's live show!

I had the chance to decide to pick between Who's Next and Live at Leeds before. I picked Who's Next and now I really regret it.

Haha, they're cool live. John Kay usually buts out some mad harmonica licks and their keyboardist wears his keyboard like a guitar.

Yes, I do, and no offense to anyone, but I have no interest in that album at all. I just can't get into Miles Davis' stuff. :(
Haha, they're cool live. John Kay usually buts out some mad harmonica licks and their keyboardist wears his keyboard like a guitar.
I saw them live on this Channel 11 thing, their were hardly any original members and they were kind of all out of the spotlight, but John Kay. He'd occasionally use the harmonica and a Rickenbacker with a slide; it was a good show.
Then you probablly don't like Jazz at all. Am I right?
No, I like Jazz.

eCow 06-26-2005 12:19 PM

I just uploaded that Miles Davis Album...Some seriously talented stuff on there.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 06-26-2005 12:21 PM

Then how the hell do you not like one of the greatest musicans to ever walk the face of the planet?!!?! Sorry, it's just freakishly strange to me that a person that likes Jazz doesn't like Miles Davis.

Broken Arrow 06-26-2005 12:21 PM

I love Bitches Brew.

jpj 06-26-2005 12:23 PM

Bitches Brew is awesome, as is Live in Olympia, and Kind of Blue. I want Sketches of Spain.
