in my house last year we were meant to get a visit from the cleaner once a month.

like we were meant to have wireless interenet installed, I complained when I handed by keys in that we were promised it and we didn't get it, the accomodation officer responded by saying we were lucky to get internet included in the package. So I then called him out on that and asked him how much last years rent increased from this year, whihc turned out to £15. £15 for a internet connection. ****ing rip off.

i dunno about whether or not she was paid, but we got our deep clean at the end of the year for free.

uni halls are expensive in general, I checked out the halls in plymouth yesterday and the cheapest is something like £90 a week for a ****ing box room. I'm paying £80 a week at the moment for a huge room, all bills included (even tv and internet).

mine's £89

I got lucky with an end room so its considerably bigger for the same price as the other rooms :cool:

Finally got around to fixing my scholarship for next year. Been procrastinating that **** for ages.

Only thing I miss about halls is having that massive room with two huge bay windows. Could've easily fit a double bed in there.
