DBoons Ghost 09-02-2005 02:42 PM

I still love the following songs:

Disposable Heroes
Motorbreath
Creeping Death
Fight Fire with Fire
Damage Inc
Four Horseman
Whiplash

Jev 09-02-2005 02:47 PM

That list is basically my favourites if you add RTL and Metal Militia.

Yea, but they didn't do Ectasy of Gold.
When I saw them it Blackened!
I'm a little lost...

So i was trying to learn Battery or Blackened. Well...it's not workin out so well

DBoons Ghost 09-02-2005 05:56 PM

I bought Black on cassette and CD.

The tape I got for my car. We all sat in my car, lit a fatty, and drove around listening to the album.

Around 5 songs in, I removed the tape from the player, put it in the case, and carefully placed it under the rear tire of my car. Then I slowly ran over it, so we could all hear the crunch.

We were shocked to say the least. Enter Sandman would have been acceptable if the rest of the album wasn't 2 steps from Poison.

Darkness 09-02-2005 06:14 PM

The only songs I liked on the Black Album were the ballads... The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters. \m/

CallOfKtulu 09-02-2005 06:16 PM

Black isnt that bad. But my favorite songs are,
For Whom the Bell Tolls
Orin
The Call Of Ktulu.

There are other's but those are my favorite.

Welcome to the forums.

Indeed, the Black album isn't bad at all, i really enjoy all the songs, but it seems that the songs aren't as well built as the other albums, still, is one of the best commercial albums ever made.

CallOfKtulu 09-02-2005 06:30 PM

Yea its a great album, but the radio sucked the life out of it. But My Friend Of Misery is probably my favorite song on Black.

heavy metal kid 09-02-2005 06:33 PM
And thanks for the welcome.
Again, i agree My Friend of Misery is probably one of the best songs of the Black Album, it's a shame that metallica never play it live.

CallOfKtulu 09-02-2005 06:38 PM

Oh, sorry, I didn't know.

Anyway, I hate Mustain. I really really do. Hes a musical guiness, but hes so whinny cause they kicked him out. Let it go.

Hate is a strong word.

He already leave behind his Metallica issues, at least he said that on a recent interview.

CallOfKtulu 09-02-2005 06:43 PM

Hes a liar. I saw a Megadeath concert, and he was in the middle of a solo, and just stoped. Why? Cause someone was wearing a Metallica t-shirt. The conncert was never finnished.

heavy metal kid 09-02-2005 06:50 PM

Well, i went to Gigantour and many people where wearing Metallica T-Shirts, the show was great.

Maybe the fan was an ass and started to bother Dave, sometimes Metallica fans are very annoying, as many Megadeth fans with Metallica.

I'm a fan of both, i don't see why there's such rivality between the fans, it's not hard to love the music of both bands.

CallOfKtulu 09-02-2005 06:52 PM

Yea. Hey, does anybody hear play guitar, cause I do. Well just wondering.

p.s., Seek And Destroy is so fun to play.

hetfieldfan86 09-02-2005 10:35 PM

**** right!!! Oooh yeah!!.....Yes brother i do. Luv to shredd and rock out classic Hetfield and Hammett riffs. But i'm wondering, does anyone here know when MetallicA is goin back on tour? I still haven't seen em live. And i always thought they opened w/ MOP? guess not. ROCK ON!!!

I bet you are lying. Dave would never stop in the middle of a solo, especially for some dumb reason like that. I've been to a Megadeth concert and people had Metallica shirts on, Dave didn't care.

RiceMonster 09-02-2005 10:56 PM

He is lying. I saw Megadeth as well, and there were many people with Metallica shirts on. He finnished the show and it was amazing. I didn't hear one comment about the Metallica shirts, except from fans.

KillemAllforOne83 09-02-2005 11:29 PM

I am a HUGE metallica fan.. but i have trouble with the fans that like them and them only..anyway my favorite songs are
Holier than Thou
Blackened
Creeping Death
The Call Of Ktulu
Battery
Leper Messiah
...And Justice for All
Dyers Eve
and Metal Miltia
oh and jump in the fire aswell

But i really have trouble with the fans that are obsessed with them and have never heard a maiden or COB tune
I wish I could stop myself from trolling this thread.

I should admit that I've purchased every album and listened to every album hoping and praying.

It's not like I just talk out of my butthole. So, I think because I did buy every album they have ever made it gives me the right to criticize.

I also have an old LP import I think might be worth money. It's the single release of Creeping Death, and it has Am I Evil and Blitzkreig on the B side. The cover is similar to Ride the Lightning. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Yep, dunno if it's worth money though, I believe I have seen the same LP in a local music store here (I live in Australia, so :p)

Doctor Night 09-03-2005 03:25 AM

Hi guys. I like the new name. It has a nice ring to it.

Mazeppa 09-03-2005 06:35 AM

Yeah, it's nice not having the page cluttered with ***OFFICIAL*** all over the place.

the_shadow_rose 09-03-2005 06:35 AM
