Stfu Stevens, lolz
|
I've been digging Mogwais Mr.Beast album
its great |
Guided By Voices - Alien Lanes
haven't heard it for a long long time and it's still fantastic! |
Gold Soundz- Pavement
The only way to kick a summer off. Too bad my girlfriend is leaving for europe for a month. Oh well. |
The For Carnation - S/T
Polvo - Today's Active Lifestyles |
I'm digging the fact that there's a new Icarus Line album out soon.
|
Latley I've been digging the smooth New Wave sounds of Joy Division and New Order.
|
Smooth?
|
I like Joy Division from the little Ive heard of them. I need to get into them more.
Right now I'm really digging My Bloody Valentine and other shoegaze type stuff. |
Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel 3
Aesop Rock - Labor Days |
Dear whoever thought it was a good idea to add munchkin vocals to Battles' music: I disagree.
I got the album in the mail today (I listened to the leak once and decided to wait, since Battles has been a favorite of mine for a while now, and I wanted to give them some $$). I don't know, man, I'm thinking it's a little shaky at this point. |
Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel 3
That album rawks my soxs |
X-Ray Spex - Anthology
Silver Jews - American Water Fleetwood Mac - Rumours Radio Birdman - Radios Appear Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - Living With the Living Metric - Live It Out First four are good. Ted Leo album is disappointing, the good songs are overshadowed by the terrible ones and it goes on about twenty minutes longer than it should. The Metric album just plain blows. |
The For Carnation - S/T
Polvo - Today's Active Lifestyles
nice Nadja - Touched Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage AlienEater, I'm really digging Nadja, although that's still the only album i've heard. It's like a more noisy, doomy Jesu. The guitars are druggy and dreamy as hell. I'd recommend it. |

The Fall- The Unutterable
This is the first Fall album (besides the Peel sessions) that is produced correctly. |

Yeah and it pretty much ruins the album. |
The Dukes of Stratosphear - Chips from the Chocolate Fireball
|
Oxford Collapse- Remember the Night Parties
This is just a solid album. It simultaneously reminds me of Archers of Loaf and R.E.M and, strangely enough, post rock. |
Holy Shit - Stranded at Two Harbors
YNGWIE MALMSTEEN - Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar Karl Blau - Clothes Your I's |
Le Volume Courbe - I killed my best friend
i think i want to have sex with this girl. she just sounds so quirky but in a sexy way. idk i really dig this album though. |
Blonde Redhead - 23
TMBG - The Else The Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard In My Backyard Pixies - Surfer Rosa |
