Did you write about Jedis?
who? |
In your RE exam. One of my friend's did.
Oddly enough, he got an E out of it. |
i didnt write about anyone. im pretty terrible at RE, got a D in the mock and i was trying. Other people just wrote "I love God" for every question.
|
I found RE easy.
BTW Jedis are the things in Star Wars. |
g'd evenin' thread.
my God that RE exam was boring. and cold, so very cold.
Did you do Judaism? |
I had an urge to write about jedis but then I though well it is a GCSE, so my more resonable side one in the end.
|
BTW Jedis are the things in Star Wars.
oooohhh Jedis, ive never seen that written down before. i thought it was some religious figure or something. My brother got an A* for RE and said it was easy but i find it challanging. Im not good at writing about my own opinion, i dont know what my opinion is. Is MX being slow or is it just me? EDIT:
Did you do Judaism?
nope. |
Why does everyone think about Jedis in RE exams?
|
Because its the only religion that matters !!!!!
|
it seems mx just crashed?
|
ah yes, how silly of me.
np - Protest The Hero - Heretics And Killers |

|

|
it seems mx just crashed?
|

It was all named on my old computer but then I had to burn it all onto cds to transfer it onto this one and it didn't automatically name like I thought it would :(

Oh I was listening to Kyuss earlier... I heard you talk about them and thought I'd give them a listen. I like :)
:( *chin wobbles* They're recording a DVD out of this tour :D then hitting the studio for the third album. We have AMAZING tastes in music, Zowë  For Kyuss I recommend either Blues For The Red Sun or Welcome To Sky Valley as first purchases. Blues... was when Nick Oliveri was still bassing for them and it's chock full of balls. At least hear Thumb, 50 Million Year Trip, Green Machine, Mondo Generator and 800 going into Writhe Welcome ... has Scott Reeder bassing, this album (and ... And The Circus Leaves Town after it) has a more matured stonery vibe. You MUST MUST MUST MUST hear Space Cadet off've that one After those albums there's ... And The Circus Leaves Town (gotta hear Catamaran) and Wretch, the former being a progression of Sky Valley, and Wretch being an amazing almost-debut, only let down by the production Other than those there's a split they did with QOTSA, a split with Wool (I think that's them) and the debut Sons Of Kyuss that sells for £500+ on eBay On the split with QOTSA there's a song called Spiders And Vinegaroons, an ace trippy instrumental. I'll prolly upload it for you, I reckon you'll like it |
That's got to be the only bonus of itunes it tags all the music automatically, although if you accidently rename all the music to the same thing you're fucked and have to change it all back manually, was not fun.

I've found a bunch of bands lately, it reaffirms my faith in music that's made today |
I'm kinda going in the opposite direction, listening to older stuff.
I've been listening to alot of Jazz and I've gotten back into grunge stuff like Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam, bands that I've not listened to for ages. |
Still into the same music i've been into for a while, just listening to more and more bands within the genre.
|
My favourite era for recent music is mid/early nineties, with Kyuss, Primus and Pantera (and others like RHCP, RATM and that) all writing (imo) their best albums.
It just seems to me that nobody's doing anything new these days. You had really unique genres and bands cropping up everywhere in the late 80s early 90s, and all that seems to have gone. You've lots of talented bands playing pretty much exactly the same as everyone else these days. It's as if modern music has become a way for producers to show off their protools skills. It seems like it's either bands doing what they do best or bands doing what other bands do best. Recent bands I'm listening to are the stoner bands I've been finding, Clutch and Down. That's about it /lol essay/rant |
man im such an idiot, im stuck in this massive msn convo now, because i need to beat the others and stay in the longest so i can be hXc
/has no life |
lol remember the MX marathons?

LOADS of bands from loads of genres are doing things new; just cause lots of bands fall into short lived pseudo trends doenst mean that all bands are all sounding the same in all genres. |
lol I'm not at all.
The bands I mentioned all have/had qualities in when they started out that, for me, are lacking in a lot of recent bands. It was a typical modern music rant, don't worry about it :p I'm just pretty peeved that I don't like so much of todays music is all :) |
I'm loving todays music, theres craploads of great bands around today who are also getting better and better.
|
Not really my thing a lot of it :(
That said, I've recently found a few bands (myspace mostly) that are exactly what I'm into. Just waiting for some of them to get big enough to tour is all :p |
Well, im into virtuoso guitar music and all varieties of Death Metal, so im currently very happy with todays music. In general.
|
Meh modern musics alright, Maiden, Muse, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, should have new albums this year, and Gilmore, Pearl Jam, Dresdon Dolls have released great albms already, so i'm pretty happy.
FOD |
Im up and ready for exams, oooh yeah
|
YAY go you :)
I'm just waiting to get hold of the grill so I can make breakfast but my sister has insisted on making bacon for hers, so my toast will taste all bacony. The it's work for me! FOAD |
