Red bull tastes really freakin' bad.

Mixed with Vodka, I cannot even imagine how bad it tastes, since Vodka tastes bad as well.

By all means try it (I'm assuming you mean vodka), as you never know, it might be just your kind of thing.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, you can get higher quality vodkas, anyway. There's a French one (which I haven't tried) called Ciroc which is made from grapes instead of potatoes, and is supposed to be very smooth and sweet. Quite a few Polish vodkas are better than the average, too. Knowing Polish people can have advantages.

By itself though? No, I think I'd have to find something to mix it with...

Orange juice is a popular thing to combine vodka with, for exmaple. You could always use it as a chaser (drink the shot of vodka, and then have something smoother standing by to help you recover afterward).

And yeah, it gets you drunk fairly quickly, but only really because of the high alcohol content of most vodkas. There's nothing unique about it that speeds the process up. One shot shouldn't make too much of an impact anyway, though.

Most vodka's have around 40% by volume alcohol level, so it is fairly high.

And everclear and clearsprings are 190 proof 95% grain alcohol by volume, a drink of it will instantly give you a sore throat.

Shadowsfallen : it does taste like cinnamon heh, just it's not like other schnapps with low alcohol volumes. This has 50% by volume with a big cinnamon flavor heh.

Whatever you do, don't have Chilli and Orange Vodka or Lime and Vodka.

My friend mixed chocolate milk shake with Vodka and got smashed, it was crazy. He was drinking it out of the milk shake carton, so i had no idea until he was gone.
