That's a bold statement. Lateralus still stands as my favorite album, maybe just because of all its personal meaning to me, a lot of memories. But 10,000 Days is certainly catching up, I'm starting to like it more than Aenema.

I can't say whether i like 10,000 days better than lateralus, which is/was my favorite tool album. There are moments where both shine, and moments on both where one overtakes the other. I'm undecided as of now, but i'm liking 10,00 days more and more after every day.

By the way, i heard people say earlier that Adam uses an epilady on one of the songs on 10,000 days, and i read somewhere else that he also uses one on triad. But to this day i still don't know what the hell an epilady is. :confused: Anyone?

IMO Aenima was the strongest release followed by lateralus, then Undertow, then 10,000 days then Opiate.

An epilady is like an electric razor for hair removal. It makes a sweet sound when put near the pickups on a guitar, which is why Adam uses it from time to time.

I don't like playing acoustic guitars at all. I find them to be very restrictive, I guess I'm just an electric guitar type of guy.

I gave in and got the album from a friend.

I love the new album. I think I like Lateralus a bit more at this point, but I feel that 10,000 Days is at par with Aenima.

Right In Two has to be my favorite track right now.

I prefer some 10,000 Days tracks to some Lateralus tracks.

Ænima is my favourite Tool album though.

I totally agree with Smahingpumpkin. I think 10,000 Days has either surpassed or is equal to Aenema. Right In Two + Wings 1&2 are my favorite tracks so far. The Pot too.

I wish It was sent in MP3 format in daily upload so I could comment.

Oh my god, the Wings tracks were amazing. I was really expecting something like Parabol/a, but I was pleasantly surprised by them. Way softer than I thought, but the lyrics are jsut amazing.

So I was listening to Right in Two on my way to school yesterday, and if you've ever felt an orgasm, you'll know how I felt. It felt like that, only stronger, and no secretion. (:p)

It was during the part where Danny just goes nuts on his kit and Adam is wanking his wah pedal through panned guitar tracks.

I had to pull over to gather myself.

I know what you mean. That song is probably the best on the album in my opinion.

I really don't care if all of you guys download the album, but it really sucks when I can't even come to this ****ing thread anymore without reading descriptions of the album in every post. I guess I'm only one person and if the majority of you guys want to discuss the album then there ain't **** I can say about it, but maybe some of you will take that into consideration for the rest of us who are waiting for the album to come out and don't want to hear a description of every song on it before it does.

So my least favorite true song on the album is Rosetta Stoned. Sounds very drawn out to me...Still good, but eh, very long. :p
