The movie doesn't screw up the story. Other than the ending it's pretty much dialogue by dialogue. I read the book I really liked it.

I think it says something about America's obsession with nudity that at least 50% of the reviews I read of Watchmen complain about how much you see Dr. Manhattan's penis. Non-sexual nudity isn't the big deal America makes it out to be.
