I'm trying to get my ratio up so I can invite some people. If you're still looking for one by the time that happens (probably not any time soon), I'll throw you one.

You can try posting in the thread "Oink Invites" in the videogames subforum on here though. That's how I got invited.

Hahaha, not quite.

Going naked = arrest for public indecency.

Sunshine 03-27-2007 09:41 PM

So.
I got my ears pierced.
Again.
3rd holes...7 overall [got a cartilage].
It was illegal, me being 17, no parent consent.
But I work at Claire's, and had to close last night, and me and my assistant manager are buddies, and she wanted to get some more piercing-practice in, sooo...thats how that went.
My parents still havn't noticed =/

Here, you don't need consent for ear piercings over the age of 16. I know there's a couple other spots you can get pierced, but nipples are 18. 4 of my friends were going to go get theirs done together for some reason, but only 2 of them were 18 at the time. They still haven't pierced them.

TTTSNB 03-27-2007 09:49 PM

Nice- a friend of mine got an industrial recently.

Sunshine 03-27-2007 10:13 PM

I'm getting an industrial when I turn 18, Claire's doesn't do 'em.

But WOW.
My dad just inspected my earrings, because the bottom is a skull.
He looked really closely at my ears.
And didn't notice the biggest earring of them all, the new one, the 3rd hole.
Wow.

I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I'd think they'd notice...at least from 8 inches away =/

The Ska Man 03-27-2007 10:15 PM

I'm probably getting some stretching(but first piercing =P) done for some plugs sometime in the near future. And I'd like to have a couple of really small rings on each ear, but I'm not sure about that.

Sunshine 03-27-2007 10:17 PM

Ewwwwwwww.
Gauges are nasty.
The only one I've got is a 14, and that's not big at all...in the cartilage.
And only because it got stretched in a minor crowd-surfing accident during Less Than Jake.
Life lesson: Be careful when you choose exactly which earrings you're going to wear to a concert if you're planning on crowd surfing. Posts might seem like a good idea at the time, but it's a lie.

Win A Rabbit 03-27-2007 10:27 PM

I made an awesome birthday card for my dad today. I was at work and it was pretty slow for a while, and one of the girls I was working with started making a going-away card for a staff member who's going away (obviously), so I figured I could make one for my dad.

Whenever I make cards I just limit what I use to the bare essentials, then work from there just improvising.

I made a cool spiral on the front (looped around 6 times) and put little folded pieces of paper as springs on the bottom, increasing lengths, so the spiral gets higher and higher. Then on the inside I made a pop-up birthday cake.

Pretty cheesy, but it was fun. All with using 2 pieces of construction paper, one pair of scissors, and a glue stick.

Creativity with crafts ftw.

Anyone who partakes in third wave ska is horrible.

Win A Rabbit 03-27-2007 10:32 PM

My dad's birthday's on Monday. But he doesn't celebrate birthdays at all.

I don't really celebrate mine, but I like doing things for other people's.

I think he's turning 45. Maybe 44 though. I always forget. :(

Sunshine 03-27-2007 10:41 PM

Haha, for the longest time I could never remember how old my parents were turning either.

But my mum just turned 39 and my dad's turning 39 8 days before my 18th birthday ^-^

Psssh.
American.
I'm not 500 lbs.
Or anorexic.
Or particularly American, really.
Most people think I'm from Europe and don't understand English =/

Cool. Yeah... seems to be the new thing.

Sunshine 03-27-2007 11:17 PM

Haha.
Does it really?
I just did it because I'm addicted to getting pierced, in a weird way.

Like, right now I'm freaking out.
Because I've got 3 in each, and 1 cartilage.
I want to get an industrial on the other side when I turn 18.
And my college boy really thinks I should go for a belly piercing, which I was almost kind of considering anyway.
But he says no facial piercings, even though I'd almost want maybe an eyebrow and/or nose stud...no lip/labret/monroe/septum/bridge/tounge, though ><

But that means.
I'm only 2 piercings away from being finished.
Crap, dude.
Craaaap.

Win A Rabbit 03-27-2007 11:24 PM

A lady friend of mine wants to get the whole "corset" thing done.

Where you get a bunch of surface piercings on your back then basically tie them together.

I told her it'd look ridiculously stupid.

wesm9787 03-27-2007 11:36 PM

and it would be rediculously painful when trying to sleep on your back. or if she happens to be the whory type, while doing anything else on her back also. i think the whole idea of it is kinda dumb but that's just me.

Someone in my brothers class a couple years ago had the skin on the back of her neck pierced, right on top of the spine. It got infected bad and she was in the hospital for about a week

Corkofski 03-28-2007 12:29 AM

corset piercings dont last long, you cant take care of em effectively, so they grow out...

eva - belly and nose = bad, eyebrow =ok, scaffold = good...

imay be getting my secondnipple pierced on stage, at a gig im playing next week.

oh and with regards to LTJ, Hello Rockview i like, the other albums arent as good

i want that done, but theres no point cos my hair would cover it

Seafroggys 03-28-2007 12:31 AM

any piercings = the suck

one earring is good enough for me.

Corkofski 03-28-2007 12:36 AM

i wouldnt get any "standard" piercings. (nose, lip, ear ect)

surface piercings are fun, and i like the pain from them

ya and face = bad

chicks with facial piercings are ugly.

actually, chicks with anythin more than just ear piercigns are ugly. its discusting seein piercings alll over a chick.

Seafroggys 03-28-2007 12:40 AM

io'm not talking about what I would get. I'm talking about what I like on a chic.

I plan on getting no piercings. Ever.

Jeff 03-28-2007 12:43 AM

ya me neither.

no tats either.

Seafroggys 03-28-2007 12:45 AM

We think a lot alike, you and I.

I absolutly hate it. I see this pretty chic from afar, I walk closer and she has a damn nose ring or something. Completely ruins her face.

Jeff 03-28-2007 12:55 AM

ya, i hate that too. and when you go up close and theres tons of acne. thats probably worse.

but ya, i don't like chicks with whale tails and tramp stamps either. its weird though cause both are kinda sexy but slutty at the same time.
