Eliminator 04-05-2008 12:09 PM

nope

Angmar 04-05-2008 12:14 PM

Lame, that's like their 2nd best album if you ask me.

RetiredAt21 04-05-2008 12:32 PM

Helvete and Inhale/Exhale are my favorites.

omgwtfboogie 04-05-2008 12:34 PM
Helvete and Inhale/Exhale are my favorites.
Likewise, definitely the better parts of their discography.

Txus 04-05-2008 12:49 PM

Helvete is the only one I listen to.
im always looking for more good grind....any suggestions? whats everyone digging right now?
What bands are you currently into?

beans 04-05-2008 02:37 PM

in this genre? or just in general?

Tyler 04-05-2008 03:01 PM

Why would he want to know what bands you like in general if you asked for grind?

beans 04-05-2008 03:05 PM

i dont know i figured i'd ask :(

i've been in a dillinger mood a bit lately, just picked up miss machine working on listening to that, just downloaded Narcosis-Romance and im really liking that, and i've been trying to get into the number 12 looks like you, there's just something about them i dont like...

edit: war from a harlots mouth and pig destroyer have been in heavy rotation lately too, so any reccomendations?

Txus 04-05-2008 03:06 PM

dillinger aint grind.

beans 04-05-2008 03:07 PM

oh well i thought they were, nvm about them then

Tyler 04-05-2008 03:16 PM
i've been trying to get into the number 12 looks like you, there's just something about them i dont like...
They're kinda bad so that'd be it.

beans 04-05-2008 03:17 PM

Txus 04-05-2008 03:19 PM

good on ya txus! :chug:
rep to you too retired :chug:

Txus 04-05-2008 05:04 PM

You're missing the best Carcass album though. Get Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious like NOW.

RetiredAt21 04-05-2008 05:05 PM

I like the first album the most. **** is so brutal.

Txus 04-05-2008 05:06 PM

**** yeah, most of their albums are awesome!

RetiredAt21 04-05-2008 05:07 PM

Heartwork has some good songs, but I don't like anything after that. I think maybe there was only one more album after Heartwork but I'm not sure.

beans 04-05-2008 05:08 PM
You're missing the best Carcass album though. Get Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious like NOW.
working on it right now...so far i have the first four tracks and im hella impressed
I think maybe there was only one more album after Heartwork but I'm not sure.
yeah there was only swansong after that one and i didnt like it.
(Only other album with new material on it i mean)

edit: Pedigree Butchery is a freakin amazing song

RetiredAt21 04-05-2008 05:10 PM

Carcass should've stayed grind.

beans 04-05-2008 05:10 PM

i completely agree with you

Angmar 04-05-2008 05:11 PM

Carcass's best album is Necroticism, which is not grind, so I disagree.

RetiredAt21 04-05-2008 05:12 PM

Or they should've played heavier death metal, not that melodic crud.

Txus 04-05-2008 05:13 PM

well, they made the best melodic death album ever, so yeah....

Carcass are ****ing awesome overall.

Angmar 04-05-2008 05:15 PM

Heartwork is cool yeah, can't say I'm a big fan of Swansong but yeah.

Symphonies of Sickness is their best of the grind albums.

beans 04-05-2008 05:37 PM

i didnt like swansong for some reason, but i love heartwork and so far im loving Necroticism, almost done downloading

LifeInABox 04-05-2008 06:37 PM

no carcass talk in here unless it's Symphonies Of Sickness

beans 04-05-2008 06:48 PM

i dont know ive just listened to Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious a few times and its amazing

Angmar 04-05-2008 06:50 PM

Indeed it is quite the album, some of the tracks are a bit long but whatever, it's the peak of Carcass.

beans 04-05-2008 06:54 PM

i can understand where that comes from, i've just had heartwork for longer so that one is still better imo for right now, but this album will probably change that

LifeInABox 04-05-2008 07:15 PM

Yeah, the 8 minute songs are a bit excessive. Regardless, it's an awesome album. Heartwork pales compared.

Angmar 04-05-2008 07:17 PM

The first song Inpropagation works for it's length if you don't count the intro, a couple of the other songs like Forensic Clinicism/The Sanguine Article don't pull off the huge play time as well though.

Aakon_Keetreh 04-05-2008 08:23 PM
Carcass's best album is Necroticism, which is not grind, so I disagree.
This is death metal/grind

Angmar 04-05-2008 08:36 PM

Meh I'd say it's just straight up DM, as where Symphonies of Sickness if like death/grind.

Aakon_Keetreh 04-05-2008 08:42 PM

how is SOS death?

Tyler 04-05-2008 10:26 PM
how is SOS death?
