I want to go to Michigan, maybe we can fight at football games and such.

Especially at hockey games.
You mean U of M right? My mom went there, and a few of my friends will be there. I'd be honored to fight you at a game :)

Bartender 04-19-2005 06:06 PM
Wow, I'm tired. I had 6 hours of sleep yesterday and 5 the day before. :(
I had a really awful night's sleep last night too, actually. My neck was hurting all the time (no idea why) and kept me awake. And it still hurts now, which makes tonight look less than promising.

superpeer 04-19-2005 06:07 PM

I didn't have any particular problems falling asleep, I just went to bed way too late.

Yea, I want to go there. The only thing is I'm not generally a fan of the cold, but everything else I'm looking foreward too. So I'm undecided, but I'm only a junior.

Illmatic 04-19-2005 06:08 PM
Thanks :thumb:

I'm pretty excited, even if they did get knocked out in the Final Four. :p
Don't worry, #2 in the Big Ten isn't all bad :)

Maybe you'll bump into my cousin...

Yea the winter's can get a little weird, but the springs/summers/falls are really nice. It was 80 today, but the rest of the week will be mid-70's. My kind of weather.

Oh ok, then you would know what the weather is like. Thanks.

How far are you from the MSU campus?

I can personally claim the credit for getting Med modded, since it was my avatar/usertitle campaign that won him his seat.

Ask for him to put in a good word, or two, on your behalf ;)

Detroit's a few hours from East Lansing, I think.

Does anyone use Yahoo's video search?

It's about ninety minutes, depending on how fast/safe you drive.

Tender, you still want some Benefit/Mad Season?

munky_magik 04-19-2005 06:57 PM

I think I've done enough YSIing for one night. G'night all and Jom, you can edit the update post a bit more. Sorry I couldn't help out more :(

Night, magik.

The one you uploaded, Rant In E Minor.

NP: Bill Hicks - Confession Time

Bartender 04-19-2005 07:13 PM

You're both welcome, Bill Hicks-wise. I wish I had something more to upload, though (I've got a load more stuff on my computer back home - I've download far too much on it considering it's on a dial-up connection - but nothing more here).

What are you having to work on for tomorrow?

*has tomorrow free*

The JoZ 04-19-2005 07:13 PM

Am I the only R&M regular who doesn't get the significance of "Elephant Fresh" in the title of this thread?

Bartender 04-19-2005 07:16 PM

Nope. I like it (and it rings a kind of general-comedy bell in my mind), but I don't know what it's from, or even if it's from anything.

Strum 04-19-2005 07:19 PM

So what are we doing in here agian?

ATM 04-19-2005 07:21 PM

I assumed everyone else knew, and never bothered to ask :/

The JoZ 04-19-2005 07:25 PM
So what are we doing in here agian?
Wondering what your favourite album is.

Jom 04-19-2005 07:26 PM

Okay, I need someone's help again.

In the old Scooby-Doo episodes, Jerry Lewis (I think) is a guest star, and he plays a song over and over again... it goes something like, "Pretty ol' miss sunrise, she's alright to me, pretty ol' miss, she's everything to me." I don't know if the "Pretty... miss" part is right, but does anyone know what song this is?

It's the episode where Velma opens the trapdoor by playing FEBAG on the xylophone.

Sorry, obscure request, I know :-\

You did well, Ali. Thanks a bunch.

I am so in denial :upset:

Jum: Try googling it?

Bart: Out of curiosity, what don't you like about Thrice?

Why on earth do you want to know about that?

I'm not sure. I like a couple of their songs (Melting Point of Wax especially), but I've listened to an album of theirs a few times, and just found them lacking a bit. Too slick most of the time, for one thing.

Any fans of The Stone Roses in here? I just finished listening to their self-titled album for the first time, and first impressions aren't all that good. A couple of good songs (but really, really good songs - three if you're listening to the reissue) and then many boring ones. Why is this album considered a classic?

i am the robots 04-19-2005 08:14 PM

I wasn't asked, but here is my quarell with Thrice, the only kid I know who likes them is a diehard fan, and also the biggest douche in the universe, he seriously is the most egomaniacal piece of **** ever.

It's interesting you describe it as slick, when Melting point of wax is one of their smoother/poppier songs... Eh, I was just wondering, because I love them :)

I like the few songs that I've heard from them.

I was thinking of getting The Artist in the Ambulance, actually.
