but he isnt dead yet is he?
any way about the slaughter house thing, i havnt heard alot about it, but if paul is doing it for farming, alot of people do the same thing, a paul is within his rights to do it, its different from slaughtering cats or something like that. If its not for farming i dont know. At the end of the day most things like that are just a big media beat up,
Yeah go listen to Revolution #9 and the end of Strawberry Feilds Forever and tell me otherwise  . I guess somebody burried Paul. Yeah I think the whole slaughter house thing has been blow up by the media. Its not the first time for the Beatles, lets not forget "we're bigger then Jesus" And about the Paul thing, I was just saying that because of the "Paul is dead" theory. Its just another really out there beatles theory like the John Lennon thing so I just thought I'd merge the two. |
oic, well the whole Revolution #9 thing was a typical lennon/ beatle thing to do, make a synical joke about it and let the "theory" grow and grow for laughs.

I thought it sounded somthing like that, to be honest I never heard the "I burried Paul", I mean I've heard the line its suppose to be, but I didn't see the Paul connection. |

If you listen to the Anthology versions, it's pretty obvious that it is indeed 'cranberry sauce' I love the anthologies |
so do i,
**** the terroists.
I know this forum talks about the same topics in a cycle, and i'm sure the John Lennon death conspiracy has probably popped up 3 or 4 times but, Theres a conspiracy that Charles Manson was a "brain washed" former fbi hitman, and how that the last 2 assainations (martin luther king, Robert Kennedy) happend when the president at the time was reaching the end of his run just like the president when john lennon was shot... And "apparently" Charles Manson acted calmly after he'd taken john lennon out as if he thought John Lennon was a task that had been assinged to him. also john lennon was one of the most influencial people at the time, hence a threat to the american president at the time because his protests on the Vietnam War etc constantly made front page and, in the example of the Vietnam war, John Lennon along with the media made the people realise what was really happening in the vietnam war and that in turn stopped the war and brought an end to a presidents reign.... what president wouldnt want john lennon out of their face. Also apparently since 1972 or 74 john lennon's apparentment etc was being watched by the FBI...
Charles Manson had nothing to do with the killing of John Lennon. He had nothing to do with the Beatles at all, except that he was obsessed with them and listened to the White Album when he killed people. |

I was waiting for someone to get him. He made a real idiot out of himself, when your gonna talk about a conspiracy know who was actually involved. |

Well actually, each beatle was accused of the murder by police, but luckily they all had good alibis for the night in question. |

Wow that's a great site. Im reading all the day by day stuff...it's pretty sad around were John's mom was run over.

Yeah I remember the day I heard about that. A couple days later I heard his song My Mummy's Dead. It was really sad that he seemed to have to hide being upset about it for the most part. |

I think i've read about five years worth - its fascinating and really interesting. I love it :D |

I never knew that song was about that. Has anyone heard John Lennon's Acoustic album that came out recently? It's good. |
I never knew that song was about that.

:o I just read that back in the Cavern John put his cigarette under the strings of his guitar at the top. He did it before Van Halen! haha
|

Wow that supprises me I can't really find much fault in it. I mean Cold Turkey is done better on the studio, but thats the only thing I can find wrong with it. |
Yep, thats where I heard it. I love the acoustic version of Imagine. I also thought it was cool how they gave you the cords to the songs, I was able to learn them while listening.
Yeah, that was really cool, I sat down and learnt Imagine on my acoustic the second I found out. |

Yeah thats a fun song to play, though I usually play it on my electric. |
I performed Imagine at a funeral
|
I performed Imagine at a funeral
Thats a good song for a funeral, its a nice good bye. |
I performed Imagine at a funeral
I would be afraid to mess it up no doubt, shakey hands and such If I could choose a song to be played at my funeral, I would have it be "I Should Have Known Better" or one of the other flimsy pop songs they did. I don't know why, it just seems natural Either that or Box Of Rain |
Wow My Mummy's Dead is just a crushingly sad song...it's right up there with grow old with me
|
Wow My Mummy's Dead is just a crushingly sad song...it's right up there with grow old with me
You know somthing I always loved about Lennon's lyrics is if he was writing a song about love or happieness you would be able to feel how happy he was when he wrote the song, or if he was down you can feel it too, like with My Mummy's Dead. I think he is the best at sparking emotion though his lyrics, except for Dylan. |
I need the acoustic CD.
but he isnt dead yet is he?
yeah no $hit haven't you ever heard the paul is dead thing from spinnin records backwards and lookin at clues on the album covers? |
Very end of im so tired when theres just mumbles jiberish play that backwards n john says paul is dead man miss him miss him oh and revolution #9 is the weirdest song i have ever heard its just creepy
|
We've discussed this.
Our conclusion: Paul cloned himself before he died.
hmm makes sense oh and sorrry i did not read through everything first |
No, I'm pretty sure he never played with them in studio. Live he did, but there he isn't credited on the studio albums. Harrison is credited with playing on a few songs though.
I know for sure that he got credit on the "Cold Turkey" single |
No doubt for something like Live 8 or some other charity concert,
If John wasnt murdered he would be 65 i think. So assuming John didnt get murdered, hed still be here. George died from natural causes so thats not as dramatic but johns life was cheated short. That would be awsome to see a lennon/McCartney reunion, that could maybe even feature Ringo on drums. But can you imagine how big that renunion would be today??!! Im only 16 and I would do anything to see that. Just imagine what you people who lived through there primes would do tgo see them! |
I found this to be weird. Many Beatle fans consider "The White Album" to be the Beatles greatest album, yet it didnt even have one number 1 hit.
I found this to be weird. Many Beatle fans consider "The White Album" to be the Beatles greatest album, yet it didnt even have one number 1 hit.
Rubber Soul didn't have 1 either. Neither did Sgt. Pepper's actually. #1 hits don't really mean anything. |
white album is great, but I couldn't even try to name my favorite beatle's album
|
white album is great, but I couldn't even try to name my favorite beatle's album
White Albums my favorite. Then probably Rubber Soul and Abbey Road. I really love all of them though. There is so little difference between their albums in terms of quality. The thing that really shows how great all of their albums are is that if you asked 5 Beatles fans to name their favorite, you'd probably get 5 different answers. |
^ I'd say they would mostly focus on Rubber Soul and after. Not many that I know put early Beatles records in as Top 5 favourites. I'd say Help has to be up there with my top 5 Beatles records, just to represent the old school n' shit, yo.
Top five beatles records: 1. Abbey Road 2. White Album 3. Let it Be 4. Sgt. Pepper's 5. Help! |
I think there best early album is The Beatles Second Album its got some good tunes on it
|
For me I'd say.......
1. Revolver 2. White Album 3. Sgt Peppers 4. Magical Mystery Tour 5. Let it Be 6. Abby Road 7. Rubber Soul Are the Beatles not the greatest band to ever exist? :amaze: |
