I keep saying that drummers are hard to find :(
So true

Has anyone here ever seen Pi, the film?

This reminded me of it.

Never seen the film, but that is just, WTF? :amaze:

Bartender 11-06-2004 07:45 PM

I know, strange, isn't it. It just reminded me of Pi because Pi is full of number theory, numerology and Kabbalah.

I'm not sure why, but I actually really like that link.

Kingofdudes 11-06-2004 07:50 PM

For some reason, I cant think of a single movie I really like right now. Probably because 80% of them are terrible.

Bartender 11-06-2004 07:56 PM

You can't think of any movie at all that you like? Or do you just mean recently released or something?

Kingofdudes 11-06-2004 07:57 PM

I mean movies that I really like and interest me.

Actually, I just thought of one, The Wall.

Permanent Solution 11-06-2004 08:01 PM

That link...was awesome, very like pi...only pi is better because he uses a drill and not a gun :p

The Wall is good too.

Fair enough. A little strange though.

Riva 11-06-2004 08:28 PM

I haven't seen many movies at all lately that I really clicked with.

Meanwhile, I had an awesome night last night. Went to some pubs, taverns and clubs for my friend's 18th birthday. We shouted her tons of shots and drinks, and got her suitably drunk. Good stuff.

Per Ardua Ad Astra 11-06-2004 08:33 PM

Shawshank Redemption is an awesome movie.
Shawshank Redemption is an awesome movie.
Just reminded me, I really like Shawshank Redemption :)

Dancin' Man 11-06-2004 08:41 PM

Movies I make in Video class > all other movies.

People in mascot suits hunting other people = awesomeness.

Riva 11-06-2004 08:42 PM

The only thing better than that is an alien zombie pirate with a chainsaw.

Permanent Solution 11-06-2004 08:44 PM
The only thing better than that is an midget alien zombie ninja-pirate with a chainsaw, hook and eyepatch.
Fixed.

Kingofdudes 11-06-2004 08:45 PM

I saw a pirate today at work when I was retrieving carts :amaze:

Riva 11-06-2004 08:48 PM

How'd you know?

Kingofdudes 11-06-2004 08:53 PM

He had an eye-patch, and a bandana(doo rag).

He most likely "AAAAR"'s aswell.

Permanent Solution 11-06-2004 08:58 PM

Pirates are awesome, good thing I am one...and a ninja...I am awesome

Riva 11-06-2004 09:08 PM

Well, he probably did have a well developed accent. Something like, ARR, there be a cut-price petrol station around here, me scurvy sea-grocery store dog-clerk?

I have seen him before. I heard the "bag" lady came in today.
I have seen him before. I heard the "bag" lady came in today.
she did, I wanted to punch her in the face

gmoneyguy 11-07-2004 12:42 AM

When I bagged fo her last week. She grabbed like 8 bags even after I bagged all of her shit.

Kingofdudes 11-07-2004 12:46 AM

She does that every week, after you bag the stuff she goes outside and rebags everything.

Riva 11-07-2004 12:50 AM

I have people like that at my work. This one lady insists you put absolutely everything in a bag by itself, because she "lives in an apartment on the third floor and it is such a steep flight of stairs... blah blah blah". They piss you off so bad, hey.

gmoneyguy 11-07-2004 12:50 AM

I don't understand why the hell she does that, or has us bag them.

Permanent Solution 11-07-2004 12:53 AM

We had people like that where I worked, but usually they did it themselves and were really cool about it...but there were some people *shakes fist*

In a grocery store, I'm guessing. Just like myself, guitrguy and KoD.

You live in Australia right? If so, then how does your dollar compare to an american dollar?

Cain 11-07-2004 01:48 AM

I work in an Italian restaurant. I don't get paid much hourly, but the tips are heaven, especially on busy Friday nights when I'm the only busboy working.

Riva 11-07-2004 01:51 AM

One Aussie Dollar is about 70c U.S. I think.

Permanent Solution 11-07-2004 02:23 AM
