For some reason, January must be my "lots of charm" month. Cause I went out today with my friend, and I got a phone number from almost each and every female cashier whose line I went through. I rule :p

hi guys today i accomplished something magnificent.

i got the kids at my work to actually jam together. like, actual jam session.

normally they bring in their guitars and amps, and someone goes on the drums, and it's 4 or 5 different people playing 4 or 5 different things for hours.

but today they got bored of that, and were like "hey, what's that whole "play something together" thing you keep talking about?" and then i started them off, and it was soooooooooo much better than listening to what it normally sounds like.

i didn't have my electric guitar there, though, so i could only jam on the drums. was still fun though.

Nice!

CombatWombat3 01-29-2008 10:19 PM

Ok...so it's ****ing cold here. It's -17 degress fahreheit, and -53 with wind chill. That's about -26 degrees celsuis, and about -47 with windchill. Seriously...this is absurd. The sand ting is, it's not too uncommon for around here.

fishbulb 01-29-2008 10:26 PM

When it gets to 40 degrees Fahrenheit around here we are complaining about how cold it is (Southern California).

CombatWombat3 01-29-2008 10:28 PM

See...I have to make sure I have enough gas in my car when I park it at night so the gas lines don't freeze. Minnesota really is a crazy state. It was 36 degrees fahrenheit yesterday, so some of the snow melted, and then when the temperatures dropped last night, everything froze again, so there's ice EVERYWHERE.

Im such a flirt haha, jeeeez.

ugh! the bolt on my 9k where the second part of the of the stand goes and you tighten it is completely stripped and i cant move it. I also dont know if my dad cept the receipt, so i could be out 200$ and a kickass stand

Nahie 01-29-2008 10:49 PM

-TGP- 01-29-2008 10:49 PM

Thats what you get for over tightening them...

Berk 01-29-2008 10:49 PM

it does cuz i can only setup one rack tom now wtf

and i didnt over tighten it, i had a 18" china and a 14" tom on it.

-TGP- 01-29-2008 10:57 PM

No, you over tightened the lug and stripped it.. It has nothing to do with what you mount on it.

Berk 01-29-2008 10:59 PM

wtf its not a lug =/

and i didnt ****ing overtighten it

-TGP- 01-29-2008 11:01 PM

Whatever the **** you wanna call it, clearly it didnt strip by itself, you have no one but yourself to blame.

Berk 01-29-2008 11:05 PM

how could I have stripped?! I didnt over tighten it at all, i certainly wasnt putting too much weight on it.

-TGP- 01-29-2008 11:06 PM

Well did the strip fairy's pay a visit to your house?

Berk 01-29-2008 11:08 PM

-TGP- 01-29-2008 11:10 PM
