yep in Newcastle they were ****ing fantastic
So you live in england. I went to see them in dublin and i live near armagh. It was only about a four hour train ride and me and two friends just skated up and down the train until one of the train workers confronted us and said if we didn calm down he would chuck us off the train(again). It was cool there. It was so different from the belfast muse concert so much more atmosphere at the maiden concert. |

I saw them in Newcastle also last year. They were pretty damn good. Also saw them at Donington on the Give me Ed tour, that was amazing also |
what do you think is the best bruce intro to a song?
by this I mean the little things he says before a song mine is from last year (with spotlight) "Light goes on, light goes off, just like that, fear of the dark" |
Yea can't help it i'm just soooo proud. You would be to. You been to any maiden concert's.
I saw them at Sheffield, on my best friends birthday, so when I got back from it, I could so drunk, I couldn't remember much... |
Okay, so we have some UK ppl here........a question to the geordie...Why are there no good radio stations in the UK that actually play metal????? Like the bands that sprang forth from the bosom of the UK.........I heard not a trace of Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Zeppelin or even Floyd for that matter. It wasnt a one off either, because I've been over loads of times now. No decent metal radio stations. Okay rant over.
PS- Seen Maiden twice now, both times in California. |
nope there isn't any good radio stations, I have searched high and low...the closest thing to a decent station is kerrang...and i don't think i can say anything more...
|
I thought maybe it was the areas in particular I visited at first......but no, I went through England up through Scotland.......even Wales ffs......and nowt. How could this be? From the place that so many of the most talented metal musicians hail from........nary a riff to be heard. Apparently my rant was not over. :upset:
|
I know...its disgraceful, but there was a time, when I was younger, when all the music was heavy metal, those were the days...when I was like 7...though
|
I saw them at Sheffield, on my best friends birthday, so when I got back from it, I could so drunk, I couldn't remember much...
man that sucks. like you pay whatever you pay for the tickets to one of your fav bands and then get drunk and then not remember it. that sucks. |
It was worth it, I remember I had the time of my life watchinn 'em play, so I got drunk to celebrate, and I now have an excuse to go see 'em again...
|

ok well if you like bruce's voice you'll probably like his, he has about as big a vocal range as bruce, if not bigger. |
