Nothing really, it's just more metal-y.
Giant or Giants? Because I'm thinking of Giant who is a Post Metal band, but Giants might be different. |
You are There is my favourite Mono album, although Walking Cloud... has my favourite song of their's - Halycon (Beatiful Days). One More Step and You Die is one of those albums where I never listened to much when I first got it, so I don't even know half the tracks and still don't listen to it much.

Eh, maybe a little bit. It could go either way to me.
|
Listen to some Té or Toe, Mappy. You might like them.
|
Té? That sounds kinda... Latin...
But yeah, I can't find them on slsk, so I wishlisted them for now, but like, a rapidshit or something would be jawesome. :) |
Post metal leans a lot more toward post rock than it does metal.
y n ? Anyway, I'd put Red Sparowes in post metal before post rock though. |
post rock gimevs me a huge boner omfgg
|
HAHAHAHA, red sparowes post metal? ok, you guys are ****ing retarded.
Mappy: ill upload something tomorrow i guess |
i would put bands like isis and nuerosis as post metal :/
|
I would too, but I think Red Sparrowes could go either way.
|
There's really nothing metal about red sparowes at all though
HAHAHAHA, red sparowes post metal? ok, you guys are ****ing retarded.
Well it is Hbp and cometuesday. I always thought of like, Pelican, Isis, and Cult Of Luna when I thought of post mettle. |
Post Metal:
Rosetta Callisto Mouth of the Architect Old Man Gloom I kinda hate the term, but it helps. |
Old Man Gloom? Uhhh....
|
Yes, what? they share some good Post Metal songs along with a bunch of experimental ****.
srsly, **** genres. |
Old Man Gloom? Uhhh....
dude, even i thought you were talking out of your *** when you labeled red sparowes as post metal, and im not even too familiar with these genres yet |
Srsly, Moonlight is the most emotional Post Rock song I've ever heard.
oh come one Mike there is way more emotional. such as: 1. lift yr. skinny fist like antennas to heavens(movement not album) 2. broken windows/locks of love part III 3. she dreamt she was a bulldozer, she dreamt she was alone in a broken field EDIT: Red Sparowes are post rock, not post metal |

No, you're just retarded. I said it like 3 times. I think it can go either way with Red Sparowes. They have components that would put them in post metal, and vice versa with post rock. Besides, you just said it yourself, you aren't too familiar with the genres, so why are you so sure that you're right? |
Red Sparowes
come on guys |
oh come one Mike there is way more emotional. such as:

Russian circles could be post metal tbh
|
Those may be awesome, but Moonlight is still a great song.
I'm not debating whether Moonlight is awesome or not because it clearly is, but when it comes to emotional post rock nothing tops Godspeed. |
No, you're just retarded.
and so the pot calls the kettle black |
I'm not debating whether Moonlight is awesome or not because it clearly is, but when it comes to emotional post rock nothing tops Godspeed.
Yeah I'll agree to that. Godspeed pretty much takes the cake for post rock if you ask me. |
Godspeed just got it right. That's the only way of putting it.
|
