anyone know how to make a diy drum petal? i need it for something other than druming so anything like it would work. Aslo, could someone point me in the right direction of a cheap black denim jacket? i've seached the internet, ebay, and some local thrift stores

I made another shirt today. This time instead of using a fabric paint pen, I used just fabric paint and a roller with my stencil. It worked really well on my practice, but the second time around was okay, but not exactly how I wanted it.

Hopefully some of you know what band that logo is for.

Anarcho Poser 06-14-2005 08:40 PM

You're really good at making stencils, it seems. Marry me?

Major General Despair 06-14-2005 09:54 PM

Dull box cutters don't work well for cutting stencils. My Omega Tribe shirt will have to wait til I can get something better to cut with.

Sid Ramone 06-14-2005 09:59 PM

my crust friend is selling me an A Global Threat shirt to use as a back patch, and im wondering, after i cut out the logo of the shirt out, is there anything i should worry about with the backpatch?

No,shouldn't be. Put finger nail polish remover around the edges so it doesn't fray as bad, though.

That looks good, I wish I could make stencils as good as that.

Yes.
That looks good, I wish I could make stencils as good as that.
Thanks. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. And since I started with patches, then moved onto shirts, Making shirts is really easy, because the detail is much larger.

white_riot 06-15-2005 02:48 PM

I have made some shirts. Just with a letter stencil and one I just painted it really messy. Still looked kinda cool though.

CombatRock 06-15-2005 10:19 PM

er.. this is a DIY thread, so i dont care if has nothing to do with punk though. i want to put the Texar Ranger logo on my baseball glove (look at avatar) that way when i go to gmaes i can have ranger glove, i know to make a stencil to use, but what is the best paint to use. spray paint, acrylic paint?

Anarcho Poser 06-16-2005 03:27 AM

Acrylic. You'll probably have to touch it up once in a while though, assuming it gets alot of action.

you could use an older logo than their most recent one. It might be easier then, because the logo in your avatar is quite detalied and could be difficult to paint. You could also try to use a patch (like off a hat) and sew it on your glove. That way it would rub off over time.
