Mexican Bandito 05-22-2006 03:50 PM

Lee Evens on BBC1 :D
Then Roxanne

Wow this is going to be a good night!

tumples 05-22-2006 03:55 PM

ive just laughed me arse off at have i got news for you, i love that program

Brew 05-22-2006 04:12 PM

woo, I had a fun weekend, spent Saturday with Becky then we went to see Mr.Scruff which was coooool, only went for about 2 hours though but still had fun :) I'm never going to drink at the Carling Academy again though, nuts to paying over £3 for drinks (a pint of Grolsch cost around £3.30)

Today I finished my A2 Art course, its weird knowing that the 7 years that I've been doing Art at my school have finally come to an end, kinda cool though...next stop, Foundation Art at College, w00t

I need sleep...

tumples 05-22-2006 04:16 PM

id love to have done art at gcse so i could have taken it for a level

it sounds like you had a pretty nifty few days.

where does everyone think theyll be/whatll they be doing in 5 years time, i was just thinking to myself about it

Patrick O))) 05-22-2006 04:22 PM

Hey MX

Brew 05-22-2006 04:23 PM

I'll probably have gone nuts from being an Art student for far too long

PAJJ 05-22-2006 04:37 PM

In five years time i'd like to have my own art studio, i think it's more likely that'll i'll be trying to get into teaching or tutoring art, at a level, foundation or uni level.

Mexican Bandito 05-22-2006 04:49 PM

I've got no idea what I'll be doing (or what I'd even like to be doing) in 5 years time.
Hopefully I'd have finished uni and have a nice place of my own somewhere.

Patrick O))) 05-22-2006 05:08 PM

I'll have finished Uni :-\

And in a fucking ace stoner-thrash band

PAJJ 05-22-2006 05:14 PM

stoner thrash:confused: well i suppose

FOD

Patrick O))) 05-22-2006 05:18 PM

lol

I'm thinking like metal with a swaggery rythm section. Lots of groove. Like ideally "For fans of: Kyuss, Pantera, Primus" sort've thing

Fingers crossed anyway. It sounds good in my head.

PAJJ 05-22-2006 05:58 PM

hey sounds interesting, i'll give you that, i haven't heard primus, but i suppose i could imagine a kyuss/pantera mix, that could work.

just ordered my tickets for Alice in Chains at Astoria :D

Patrick O))) 05-22-2006 06:41 PM

Primus are well worth a look.

Yeah, it's the Kyuss/Pantera thing I'm most going for, it's my own guitar playing where I think the Primus references will come out, Larry Lalonde's been a big influence. The rest of the band like the idea as a direction, we'll see how it turns out (if we ever have a practice ... >:-\ )

Who's singing for them now?

I'm away to bed. Night guys

tumples 05-22-2006 06:46 PM

toodles

i think i might do the same

PAJJ 05-22-2006 06:54 PM

William DuVall is singing, it won't anywhere near the same as Layne, but it seems like it'd be a good gig, and jerry seems to be doing it for the right reasons, and going about it respectfully.

I off too, night people.

Squirrel 05-23-2006 04:07 AM

5 years time ? i'll be done with this god damn degree and hopefully have a nice car, nice place and beautiful woman :)

Not a lot >_>

Yay, revision begins.

Atomic Rain 05-23-2006 04:14 AM
ive just happily spent the last 15 minutes buried in the mx album, its really weird putting faces to name, some people dont look anything like i thought
There's this really weird story involving the photo album, Mx confessional and Emily (H_D_F)

Squirrel 05-23-2006 04:17 AM

np: Origin - Staring from the Abyss.

Jev 05-23-2006 05:01 AM

I think I just failed my English Lit exam.

Jev 05-23-2006 05:27 AM

tumples 05-23-2006 05:43 AM

Jev 05-23-2006 05:55 AM

tumples 05-23-2006 06:10 AM

Squirrel 05-23-2006 06:46 AM

jpshortstuff 05-23-2006 08:56 AM

that is the first time i ran out of time on an english paper, usually i have to wait half an hour for it finish. dont thin i did to well, spent to long on the first question and did hardly anything on poetry. I asked someone how it went and he said "i wrote 11 pages in total" <<Bastard i wrote 3

Hey MX

Mexican Bandito 05-23-2006 08:59 AM

Good afternoon peapul :)

I think I just shrunk my favourite top again. It's handwash so I washed it in the sink, took it out and rung all the water out... it looks half the size and it's also all bobbly :(

Patrick O))) 05-23-2006 09:04 AM

:( I had a woolly jumper that was hand wash only, but I machined it anyway. It came out fine, only now it's unravelling in places :upset:

It'll be reet ... prolly ...

I only wrote 4, don't worry.

jpshortstuff 05-23-2006 09:08 AM
I only wrote 4, don't worry.
im not that worried, i probably scrape a C like last year in the Language paper (took it a year early). Least i dont have to worry about another english paper.

aww :(
I've got a jumper like that, it's falling to pieces so I don't wash it anymore! I just steam it with the iron and then Febreze it :upset:

This jumper/tshirt thing is angora and silk so it's pretty delicate. I've washed in the machine before, so now it just fits and no more!

Patrick O))) 05-23-2006 09:10 AM

o rly? o.0

I have a suicidal tendencies shirt that I wore to death one holiday. Now I can't wear it, it's so full of holes :(

the_uber_penguin 05-23-2006 09:11 AM

I wrote the least in my class on my English paper.

Not to worry, I normally get at least as high marks as them in the practice essays though.

In other news, I now have no exams until Uni (or retakes in November)

Patrick O))) 05-23-2006 09:16 AM

What's wrong with you people? I wrote tons on mine

lol

jpshortstuff 05-23-2006 09:16 AM

i have a bad feeling the RE exam tomorrow is going to be fatally boring.

Mexican Bandito 05-23-2006 09:21 AM

RME was awsome :D
I loved that class.

I got a B in French last year :smoke:

jpshortstuff 05-23-2006 09:35 AM
I got a B in French last year :smoke:
thats pretty cool. i do German though so i dont know if thats hard or not.

Jev 05-23-2006 09:44 AM

German's probably harder than French. I found most of French easy minus the speaking, so i did foundation speaking.

jpshortstuff 05-23-2006 09:47 AM

the speaking was quite hard but i got enough practice since im half swiss :thumb:
the writing looks pretty hard but we did coursework instead which is pretty easy. The french side of the year didnt get the option to coursework haha to them.

Jev 05-23-2006 09:54 AM

I did Coursework and writing
