1968 or 1969, I can't remember.

I've listened to 4 songs on it....it was too weird I didn't like it. I can only picture myself listening to it stoned somewhere by myself which would be depressing. But basically I just thought it was too weird to listen to on a regular basis.
|
Yeah I couldn't listen to it on a regular basis either.
|
The album I have is a lot different from that song that he posted. It's more Jazz/Blues than weird Voodoo psychedelia.

You watch yo' self. RAR, how's American Beauty? Schyma, how's Fifth Dimension?
Awsome and I want that Dr. John album (Gris-Gris) sometime soon. Can I get it from you? :) Other than 5D and SOTR what other Byrds album should I buy? |
American Beauty is awesome. Great soundtrack too.
Nevermind you guys are talking about Grateful Dead, not sweet movies. |
I got a new avatar.

Other than 5D and SOTR what other Byrds album should I buy?
Yea, sure. Younger than Yesterday is a good album. And supposably, The Notorious Byrds Brothers is great too. Keep in mind that these albums are not as Psychedelic as 5D, or as Country as SOTR. But none the less good albums. You downloaded FD, right? What are your favorite songs? |
Anybody like John Mayall?
Anybody like John Mayall?
/subject
Blues alert! Blues alert! That means it's crappy! /likes John Mayall. |
I like John Mayall, but I don't think I know enough about him to hold a consistent conversation.
/suck :upset: sorry. |
Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton is pretty good. I prefer Clapton's playing on that album to anything else he had put out. With the possible exception of Wheels of Fire.
|
Yea, sure.

My favorites were 5D (Fifth Dimension), Mr. Spaceman, What's Happening?!?!, Eight Miles High and Psychodrama City. Have you heard anything from Mr.TM or B of ER? |
Mr. Tambourine Man is a pretty good album. Not my favorite, but it has a couple of good tracks, like most Byrds albums. And I haven't heard the Ballad of Easy Rider.

How many albums do the Byrds have in total? I've never really gotten into them a whole lot so i just kinda got the impression that they weren't around for very long.. |
I like this Highway 61 Revisited so far.

You just got it? |
Listening to it on the site. I don't own any Bob Dylan albums, and I didn't know which to get first, so I'm checking some out
