We're doing

Kid Dynamite - Pause
NOFX - probably Linoleum
Lagwagon - Violins
Good Riddance - 21 and a Gun or something like that

Berserker! 10-13-2005 11:01 AM

I've decided that American Beauty by the Grateful Dead is one of the best albums ever made.

whiteminority 10-13-2005 11:08 AM

Grateful Dead own all other country psychadelia bands (if there are any).

Dawg, everyone covers "Linoleum"...and by 'everyone' I mean 'Shai Hulud'. My old band covered "Bottles to the Ground" and it was tight.

What album is "Another Day in the FLA" from?

It's the first track on The Few, The Proud, The Crucial by Casey Jones.
They blew it up during the game and you could see about an inch of air between the ball and the dirt.
If that was the last play of the game, and they overruled it, shouldn't the Angels win that game? They would have won if the ref didn't mess that call up right?

I don't even listen to NOFX. The only reason I kinda know Linoleum is because of that cover. We each chose a cover to do though, and that was our bassist's choice.

Johnny EPHC 10-13-2005 02:47 PM
Where did you see them?
Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago.
How much you pay?
14 bucks, twice what I paid for MLIW. :amaze: Still worth it.

CBK were really awesome, even without Scott.
If that was the last play of the game, and they overruled it, shouldn't the Angels win that game? They would have won if the ref didn't mess that call up right?
No, it would have gone into extra innings. Josh Paul still should have tagged Pierzynski, it's a basic thing they teach catchers, if even your glove hits the ground you just tag the guy with the ball.

And still, the umpires didn't steal second or hit an 0-2 pitch into the corner.

whiteminority 10-13-2005 05:17 PM

obese_breasts 10-13-2005 06:58 PM

SactoUnited 10-13-2005 07:00 PM

Haha I have that song too, its my favorite one by them. I thought they had an EP out.

obese_breasts 10-13-2005 07:01 PM

Mute Print 10-13-2005 07:53 PM

Oh man, what an awesome show. Modern Life is War, The Distance, and With Honor are awesome. I just downloaded an album from Most Precious Blood, and they're not bad either.

cbmartinez 10-13-2005 07:57 PM

Joel, maybe you should go to THE CHARIOT show instead. :p

Mute Print 10-13-2005 07:59 PM

Ha, I was supposed to see the Chariot last Friday with Every Time I Die and the Red Chord, but they dropped off the tour a few days prior. They were the band I want to see most, although the other bands were all pretty good.

chips88 10-13-2005 08:00 PM
Joel, maybe you should go to THE CHARIOT show instead. :p
Yeah, its the same week. But seeing as how I've already seen them TWICE, I'd say I'll have to pass.

but no, I'm probably just going to the blacklisted show, cause my parents are insanely gay when it comes to schoolnight shows.

SactoUnited 10-13-2005 08:05 PM

Mine too.

Mute Print 10-13-2005 08:07 PM

My mom has been incredibly cool about letting me go to schoolnight shows. As long as they aren't out of town, she'll let me go to whatever. My dad goes with me, so that isn't an issue.

_Tyler 10-13-2005 08:10 PM

I can almost always go to shows on weekdays. My parents are real cool about shows.

chips88 10-13-2005 08:16 PM
Mine too.
I'm missing MLIW/With Honor, Shattered Realm/Hoods/Donnybrook, and Saves the Day because they are school night shows.

And I make all A's and am getting accepted to Texas A&M, but no, that does not change their mind one bit. It's so frustrating.

cbmartinez 10-13-2005 08:24 PM

Slit your wrists. :(

Lazybassplr56 10-13-2005 08:30 PM

I advise you to take his advice.
