I like Arcturus'ses [i]The Sham Mirrors[/i] and Borknagar quite a bit

ulver is nothing like either of those bands

also, Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernal is a must have imo

anyways, the ABSURD and GBK show was probably one of the best show ive been to overall, the venue, crowd, atmosphere, and ABSURDs performance, everything was amazing. ABSURD completely destroyed all expectations i had, amazing sound. Played all of Thurinigan Pagan Madness and the newer stuff ****ing ruled as well. i need to hear more of the newer stuff.

How were GBK?

they played in Chicago. GBK was ok, the sound was crap for them imo and a few people i went with agreed, it got better as time went on but it was nothing compared to ABSURD. Mobus from Absurd did vocals for them live.

workin full time i guess get vacation days to book n gettin my xmas bonus this week trip only cost me like 400 bucks this time. they played Shemhamforash yes, dunno what else im not a huge fan.

absurd are alright but their riffs are a little too thuggin for me

New Master's Hammer album is really solid.
