Pavement is one of those bands that you could find in a larger record store, so instead of stocking up on things that people could find elsewhere, they order rarities and albums by lesser known bands.

Dillinger Escape Plan has a new EP coming out on iTunes (wtf) tomorrow. It has covers of Soundgarden, NIN, and Justin Timberlake songs.

I think I just might sit through Letterman a few times this week. His musical guests starting tomorrow are Cat Power, Neko Case, Widespread Panic, and Sonic Youth. Sounds like fun.

So I went to Tilly & The Wall instead of the strip club. It was ok, I guess. They're way too....happy. Really bouncy. I guess I prefer my music angry or sad. Or both.

Why does everyone dislike Leno and like Letterman? I think Letterman's show is the least funny thing ever.

I like the games they play like "Will It Float?" and throwing things off the top of buildings. Everything seems a lot less organized and unscripted (even if it is), like Dave could do whatever he wants at any time. The only funny thing about Leno is Headlines and that's because he doesn't really have anything to do with them.
