Just listened to the new Killswitch Engage album and the idea of having an outside producer was the worst idea they could have done. More mainstream songs, lots of slower songs, and overproduced at times. Howard sounds great though.

I've only listened to it once, its a lot more mainstream judging on first listen. I'll give it more time before I make a fair judgment.
